Thank you!

When my 20 yr. old nephew went into a diabetic coma in 2001 and passed away, Bro. Sanders was a tremendous source of strength and comfort to my brother and sister in law. Such a fine man of God!

Thankfully we will see him on the other side. O death where is the sting, O grave where is thy victory

Because someone will interrupt with

“It’s a hoax”

Or some other “info” from YouTube

Because I know there are some posters here who have definite opinions about Covid, and I wanted this to be just a heads up to anyone who may have known Brother Sanders that he passed... and to keep sister Sanders in prayers, as she is still in ICU and critical.

In hindsight, it probably was best left unsaid, and I apologize for any misunderstanding in that statement.

Thank you all for the prayers...

There is more sad news to report this evening...

This afternoon, two days after her husband passed, Sister Valerie Sanders also passed from this realm into the next.

I wish I had all the answers. I wish I knew what the Lord knows, and understood His divine providence, but I do not.

What I do know is that we serve a faithfully faithful God, in whom there is not a shadow of a mistake. He does all things well, when we understand and when we don't, God's ways are just and right. Our hope is in another day!!!

Thank you for your continued prayers for their children and grandchildren. God bless you all...

Thats actually quite common with spouses that have been together for a time...Im not questioning the tragic nature...just pointing out that it happens frequently. Really sorry that the family is dealing with loss like that however.

Barb,
About a year ago my DIL’s father found out he had cancer. Obviously, their family was very upset.

I don’t know if God brought this to my mind or not. It was a thought that came to me in a simple way. It wasn’t a feeling or like a dream I have had when I knew God was showing me something. However, it came in such a way, that I also won’t say it wasn’t God either.

My thought was that even in the pain of sickness, God has also created the pain. The reason being, as we know or have experienced this being true, a person is more receptive to letting go of this life when their body is in pain.

It made so much sense to me. That is God’s way of helping us let go of the only life we know to be with Him forever. And even someone who isn’t especially a Christian, it still makes it easier to let go.

This couple are with Jesus and we rejoice for that today.

I heard some Jewish people talking about how they don’t understand why Christians cry when someone dies. They said, we Jews rejoice!

Letting go of someone in this life is hard, because this is all we know. It stands to reason that we can cry and also rejoice.

I understand the loss of them here on this earth. We’re striving to be where there at right now.

So sad to lose those we love, but, to know they have run their final race and have made it Home, brings such Comfort!
