Praying for them... the virus is a really miserable thing. 8 friends of mine all got it within a week. They were all extremely miserable with it, but have recovered. Praying all is well with MawMaw and PawPaw!

Got a friend in Wisconsin who was told he had covid, and his whole family. They said it was like having a cold.

Guess it strikes everyone different.

Just saw this thread. I wasn't aware MawMaw and her family has Covid. I will text MawMaw tomorrow and see how the family is doing. Praying for the family.

I talked to MawMaw this morning. She sends her thanks and love to you all. MawMaw says, " They seem to be getting over the virus. Her husband is on oxygen for a bit but is doing much better." On top of the virus, the hurricane did bit of damage to the area and she is still without power. Please continue to remeber them in prayer.

Hello my precious AFF friends! Thank you so much for your concern for my family and myself! :heart We are all doing so so much better!! Hubby is still on a bit of oxygen, but I'm thinking he will be able to come off it in a few days. Our Pop, who is 90 had to go to the hospital for a few days, but is coming home to a swing bed rehab unit for a few days. He is doing really good! My symptoms were not bad at all, other than a cough and head congestion. More like a cold to me. It is really odd how it affects people so differently.

The hurricane Zeta was another whammy. We all underestimated that booger!! Came in as a strong cat 2. I honestly believe there was more tree damage from this one that Katrina! Thankfully we only had one little hole in our carport roof from a huge tree limb. And a beautiful loved tree in my front yard was blown down. Yard was a full mess for sure. My oldest son and 5 of his kiddos and his pastor and some of his family came and cleaned up most of the mess!

All in all we feel so very blessed.

So thankful to hear that you are all doing better MawMaw! Will keep praying for both your husband and his father for continued and quick recovery. I can imagine the hurricane was a terrible thing to deal with, but so thankful that family and friends helped you out!

Yeah! So glad you all are well! Thanks for letting us know. Glad no real damage to your house. I am currently shopping around for a better deal on my home owners coverage. This hurricane business is really raising the prices around here!
