Have you had the covid?
Just thought I'd see who here among us believes they have had the c-virus? Were you tested? Were your symptoms comparatively similar to the majority of symptoms people are having? If you had it several months ago, how are you feeling now?

Re: Have you had the covid?
Have not contracted the COVID. Not me, not my wife, not my children, not my in-laws, not my church family.

Re: Have you had the covid?
Probably somewhere around 20-24 people in our church have tested positive. It showed up about 3-4 weeks ago. No one has died from it. It went through my pastors family right off the bat. Shut down services for 2-3 weeks.

Re: Have you had the covid?
I almost died with Covid...all our family had Covid..

Re: Have you had the covid?
Over 100 people affected with covid in my church in early summer. 1 passed away. The rest recovered.

Re: Have you had the covid?
My Pastor's family had COVID19, our first lady passed away,
she had many pre existing conditions. |
Re: Have you had the covid?
My husband, his 90 year old dad and myself all tested positive for Covid in mid October.
Pop and I did not have severe symptoms....mostly weakness, a cough and some congestion, no fever. We have recovered well. My husband was more sick, but thankfully did not have to go in hospital. He had pneumonia in one lung. Lots of fever. Was put on oxygen and used a nebulizer. He is completely off the oxygen now and taking a few more treatments with the inhaler. Doing so much better! |

Re: Have you had the covid?
Not myself or my family at home.
My middle son and his family did (they live in another state). Also, my wife's family has almost all had it, (about 15 people). I have several/many friends and acquaintances that have died from it. Probably around 20-25 at this point. Two friends sons (both in their 20's), are in the hospital in critical condition with it now. |

Re: Have you had the covid?
My household, parents, in-laws, and numerous church folks have tested positive over the past month. Symptoms among the children were nearly non-existent -- runny nose, slept a lot -- but seemed to be incrementally worse with age.

Re: Have you had the covid?
I was hospitalized here in NWA. My 3 roommates caught it. 2 friends/coworkers caught it. It had spread all over the workplace before I got sick.
A cousin in Houston and his family caught it. End of summer several people in the church in south Texas caught it. Same with the church up here. None of my family in CA have caught it- that we know. My sis thinks her daughter had covid a year before the outbreak in the states. |

Been listening to your son Bro Raul Jr. preach some since he's been in the states. He preached for my son one night and I got to see it live! He is an awesome, anointed man of God! |

Re: Have you had the covid?
Apparently our pastor's daughter has it, she's doing fine. Mild symptoms from what I've heard. That's the only reported case in our church. We did remote service on Wednesday, but we'll be back in person this Sunday (just not the pastor and his family). I considered showing up in person and connecting to the Zoom meeting from church, but I didn't want to install it onto my phone.
My attitude is, that God can protect me from any virus. If God doesn't protect me from it, He can still keep me from dying of it. If God doesn't keep me from dying of it, then it was God's will, because He's still in control. |
Re: Have you had the covid?
My brother told me that his church in the Midwest had to go back to online services because of an outbreak in the church. I was told several are in the hospital and not doing well.
I believe I may have had it in January. I was pretty sick for a week or so. Thankfully, the Lord has kept my family from it. We’ll see how things are after Thanksgiving. Planning on the whole family coming together... 37 if everyone can make it with exception of one nephew and family. |

Re: Have you had the covid?
Had Covid-19 in July. Oxygen levels stayed too high (91%) for them to admit me in the hospital, despite even going to have Covid related pneumonia. Worst days of sickness. Could not breathe, felt like my chest was in a vice. Got a false positive on my birthday (July 30) and had to quarantine again. Finally tested negative 2 weeks back prior to a back steroid injection.
Do not fear, but we should be careful. |
