Re: One option for Pence
I don't believe at this time that it is the will of the Lord for Trump to win, this is a judgment call on the nation who has left it's true God to worship at the altars of money, medicine and ME! The me being selfishness.
Personally, I have watched the false prophets rave about "Thus sayeth the Lord..." It reminds me of this Scripture in Jeremiah which goes like this. Jer 14:14 Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spoke unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of naught, and the deceit of their heart. The Lord is turning this thing the way He wants it to go. Period. This is judgment on a nation. The church, the true believers, will prosper but the false church, the whorish church will suffer. We see a church world that prostituted itself to a orange haired false messiah that indeed has failed to deliver them. Why isn't the church praying more and fasting more? That is what they are going to need to take them through this next area. If a person is a pretrib dispensationalist that believes that Jesus is coming tonight, and if not tonight then tomorrow, why are you worried? This is all wrapping up... But no, we see those same people, the same churches, the same preachers who claim that they believe that it is all getting ready to end disobeying Hebrews 10. Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. If you truly believe what you say you believe then live it or get off the pot! If you are a dispensationalist and have shut church down then you are a hypocrite. You say you believe something but your actions prove you are a liar. Trump has never been our messiah. |
Re: One option for Pence
Besides, I see that Pence did not follow through with what Trump wanted him to do....
Maybe he is more of a Christian than Trump is. He can see the writing on the wall. Pennsylvania decision is being put off until after the coronation, er inauguration. |

Side note: why do you often respond inside the quote function? Makes it more difficult for people to use the quote function when responding. I've seen several people do that here and never understood why? |

Trump apparently wanted Pence to work some miracle and Pence said that he was going to go with what has been proclaimed. It appears that Trump is alone in this thing now so don't expect him to pull a rabbit out of the hat and stay in office. Pray hard but I don't think it is going to happen. As far as submitting to a stolen election? Drinking the kool aid? You are the one living in fantasy land thinking that Trump is going to do something amazing. Again, I don't see it but you never know. In a year maybe he and hillary can compare notes on how they lost and election. |

I believe Pence is supposed to do whatever on the 6th and then he is immediately taking vacation.
With Israel as his first stop. |

Secondly, Pence can and likely will accept the electors chosen by the State Legislatures in the contested states, or reject both slates of electors entirely. |

Re: One option for Pence
GOP AZ Rep Louis Gohmert has filed a lawsuit against VP Pence in a last-ditch attempt to keep him from accepting the EC results.
"The lawsuit claims that the Electoral Counting Act, which governs disputes over electoral votes in Congress, violates the 12th Amendment, which also outlines the electoral voting process. The Electoral Counting Act details a process of handling objections to votes that involves both the House and Senate. Gohmert's complaint, filed Sunday in Texas federal court, claims that constitutionally it should only be the House to do this." https://www.foxnews.com/politics/goh...turn-biden-win I can't help but think at the reaction if Trump had won and Biden was the one doing all the contesting and filing all the lawsuits, etc due to alleged fraud. Politics is a funny thing. |

It won't matter if a video is produced showing Biden, Harris, and the Chinese President planning the fraud. Pence won't do anything. |

Basically, they bring the black box in with the electoral votes. One man or woman from House and Senate have to refuse to accept the election results state by state. Each objection gets two hours of debate in Congress. After each two hour debate, Congress votes, agree or disagree. We would need enough objections to delay the ratification until January 18th. That makes neither Trump nor Biden receiving 270 electoral votes. A Contingent Election kicks in. Thomas Jefferson was chosen in this manner. The House of Representatives then chooses the President by state delegation which Republicans control - one vote per state. Senate chooses the VP. |
Re: One option for Pence
I am disappointed in Mike pence. Professor John Eastman, Trump's attorney, said Pence was dishonest and that he grossly mischaracterized Trump's request for January 6th.
Trump didn't want the election overturned. That is a parroted point being made that is not true. Trump only wanted Pence to adjourn the meeting to allow the Legislatures to continue their investigative work to determine if the certification of electors, which violated state law, were erroneous. After the investigation, Trump wanted them either reaffirmed or overturned. |
