Lyin’ Ted at it again

"The President's language and rhetoric often goes too far," the Texas senator said straight-facedly. "I think, yesterday in particular, the President's language and rhetoric crossed the line and it was reckless. I disagree with it, and I have disagreed with the President's language and rhetoric for the last four years."- Ted Cruz another RINO

But, I still want to know what Pressing On thinks about this.

Re: Lyin’ Ted at it again

I personally feel that Trump was what we needed to push back and focus on the problems in our Government and country. He had a way of highlighting an issue, forcing the news to talk about it.

With that said, there were times his rhetoric was not necessary and over the top.

However, it was hard for him to separate the two, so I look at the good he has done.

Ted Cruz is brilliant and “measured”. He can never be a Trump and that makes it hard for him to defend Trump 100%.

I look and take note that Ted Cruz never backed down from the voter fraud having taken place. In that matter, he stood with 6 Senators and 121 House Reps to stand for Trump and our Constitution.

Calling people stupid and dumb as a rock. That type of stuff wasn’t necessary. I wish that he wouldn’t have gone that far, because I believe that is what caused so many to hate him. I think that he could have been more accepted in his party if he had dialed back with the name calling.

Some will say that it may not have mattered. They could be right as well. He turned over the proverbial Establishment apple cart in both parties. They may have hated him anyway. No one likes a light to shine on their sins or faults.

Cruz has his own angle. He has his career ahead of him which looks lile he will try to be the MAGA "good cop" to Trump the "bad cop".

We really have to quit looking for celebrity politicians to lead things. What we really need is a genuine grassroots movement that will grab state leaders by the short hairs and force them to act in our best interests, not theirs.

But any grass roots movement will be crushed. They have proved hard that they want no opposition to their rule. Anything getting in their way will be removed.

Ah, but a grassroots movement of Christians trusting in and following God cannot be crushed. That's the key, God has to be the One in charge.

No one likes the old truth teller. But I still have some super staunch people who still believe Trump ill be president. I wonder how many years will it take before they give up?

But wait, now you are talking about something people don't believe in. Especially Christians.

I guess the presidency isn't the most powerful job in the world?

Well, they better start believing in it. I don't see any other way.

That's it, there is NO OTHER WAY OUT.

Except You Abide In the Ship, You Cannot Be Saved! Anyone who wasn't in the Ark perished. Trust in Christ is the banner we must hold high. National repentance is the call to battle. But alas, I believe they will still seek to go down to Egypt for help, to rely on horses, trust in their abundance of chariots and in their multitude of horsemen. Not depending on the Holy One of Israel, not seeking the LORD.

II Timothy 2: 1Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

WE MUST NOT EVER FORGET THAT IT IS GOD WHO FIGHTS THE BATTLE, AND WE ARE JUST THE SOLDIERS CHOSEN BY HIM.

You've said what millions think. We will never have another president that will stand ground to expose the crookedness and attempt to dial back what being in congress should be about. They have it back. It's too bad so many got caught up like it was another Apprentice episode. I do agree on your other point that he could have neutralized a lot by pulling back personalizing so much. Nobody likes being made a spectacle including Trump so if he could have just went on with business as usual and turned the other cheek and shown a little humility.
