Well, now we know for sure!!

I don't know everything, and if we had any doubts before (none of us did), now we know it is true!!

I didn't know yesterday why I couldn't get near the gas station, but I know now...they all had a vision that some psychopath was gonna hike the price up by 30 cents!!:banghead

I don't care if the cars are lined up to Cleveland...the NEXT time I see a long line at the pumps, I'm getting in it!! :ranting

And after everyone panicked and filled the tank... the price would rise FIFTY cents due to supply and demand.

Thank God for Freedom and Open Markets!!

:thumbsup

HeavenlyOne 07-10-2007 04:25 PM

As long as I don't have to live there...but I could use some training and would love to travel to Michigan to see Sis. Barb and Sis. Peggy!

Report them Sis. Barb. That sounds like gouging to me!

We are paying as little as $2.74 a gallon for regular around here and we have one of the highest gasoline taxes in the country.

Somebody is trying to get over on you and all the rest of the Motown folks!

Wow, Cousin Brad.... I bought my vehicle new in May of '06. A year and two months later it has over 31,000 miles on it. lol

Gas did the 30 cent (give or take) jump around here too. Someplaces here now are $3.19.

tamor 07-11-2007 07:18 AM

Gas in the north and west is typically higher than the south and east. Gas today here is $3.29 in most places. I bought from the local cult group cause their's is $3.19.....LOL!

RevDWW 07-11-2007 05:51 PM

A good friend of mine called from Milwaukee today and mentioned to me the gas is $3.49 a gallon. We were just up that way last week and it was at $3.09......

Turns out that this old lady's dog went potty on the lawn of a man well known for his patronage to the local flea market, which incidentally sells a lot of glassware and candle making kits. The wax from the candles are known to have minute chemicals in them known for causing sterility in meerkats, and hemorrhoids have also been reported by people who own pet mice (although there is no proof if it's the chemicals in the candle wax, or just a life-happening). As you might have heard recently, mice are abundant in flooded areas of China, making travel hazardous, as they believe mice are their reincarnated ancestors. Since traffic jams are now increased, this is putting a strain on the oil market, thus making the price of gas higher.

Or it could have been the old 'let's throw a dart at the board and see what happens...oh shucks, it landed on 'let's raise gas AGAIN'' trick.
