Let's Talk About Your Church For a Moment.

What are the three things you like the most about your church?

Here are my three faves.

1. I'm the pastor! :winkgrin
2. We have a lot of kids and young people.
3. Our folks love Bible study more than any other service.

Sheltiedad 07-10-2007 04:57 PM

1. Its a church constantly in revival! Jesus be in tha house!! Every service is always awesome! New people getting baptized receiving the Holy Ghost every week, almost every service
2. The leadership-our pastor and assist pastor are men after God's own heart
3. The people-its like a big (really big) family!

and i could go on and on.... :choir

4.Grace is the answer to number 4 because things that are gifts of grace are undeserved.
Elder Epley I'm sure you are a great Pastor.

2. The community knows where to go for prayer
3. The nursery is always busy..(the new birth experience is alive and well :winkgrin)

ManOfWord 07-10-2007 09:36 PM

1. A GREAT team with whom I serve.
2. ZERO politics among our leaders.
3. Absolutely awesome music and worship

OP_Carl 07-11-2007 11:00 AM

1) A very deep, thought-provoking, principle-extracting bishop is my preacher and pastor.

2) There are places of retreat for mothers to nurse and fathers to correct.

3) The large congregation size provides for many programs for the kids and increases the probability of finding like-minded people with which to fellowship.

I could go on and on, but you limited it to 3. And frankly, it is an effort for me to focus in on the positive aspect of the congregation size (#3), since I am unaccustomed to attending such a large church.

I love my church, it has a great pastor and leadership team

Worship/music is power packed.

active youth group and opportunities.

24/7 prayer in church building continuous now for I think 5 years… prayer makes a difference.

I love the Word of God... and I think my pastor is a good preacher... but I go to hear my brother on Wed nights... he is awesome.

1. The preaching/teaching.

Well, the church we attend we are not members of or even involved, but here is what I like:

1. The worship and music are good.
2. Preaching is basic with varied speakers.
3. We can attend there and not feel pressured to be anything other than what we are which is Sunday morning only...in the door and out right after service.

Sister Alvear 07-13-2007 11:40 AM

1. The worship is great.
2. We have lots of programs for the youth.
3. Brother Alvear preachs only one Sunday a month at headquarters giving others time and space. I think that is so kind of him to encourage and give opportunity to other preachers and would be preachers.

We are blessed!

That's great!

Our Church
1. Wonderful pastor and pastor's wife... They don't try to put us into their cookie cutters and they accept us for who we are. They don't want to change us and they are not afraid of us because we have our own minds, and use them!!!
2. Genuine people
3. Love for eachother
