Urgent Prayer Request- Suicide
 

I just found out this morning that my first cousin commited suicide. he did not know the Lord in any way that I am aware of. He was in his late 20's early 30's no wife or kids.

Obviously the family is devistated. This is the second in my generation on my dads side of the family that has done this.

I dont know if I will be on the forum much to give an update. thanks for the prayer.

His name was David.
Kathy is his mom.
Larry is his dad.

in addition to his mom and dad he has 1 brother and one sister.

Also pray for my sister Sandra she was extremely close to aunt Kathy.

Please remember my Aunt Rose. She is a sister to Aunt Kathy. Rose lost a son 5 years ago in this same manner. So senseless. our hearts are broken all over again.

Urgent Prayer Request -Suicide
 

Almighty God of Refuge, Comfort and Strength! Thank You for a

place to hide until this terrible "storm" passes by! For Thou, O Lord,

has been a shelter for each of us in times of storm, wind and rain!

These storms (trials) would overwhelm us and we would be des-

troyed if it wasn't for You, our Hiding Place!!

Lord Jesus, we pray that You would bring the comfort and strength

that is so bably needed at this time! You, and You ALONE can provide

what they need today and in the days ahead! As they continue on,

one day at a time, give them grace sufficient for the need!

We ask You to give Bro. Ferd the wisdom and words to say to his

family at this time. We ask this all in the Wonderful, Sufficient Name

of JESUS!!

We are about to leave Dalllas headed for louisiana. Thanks for all the kind words and prayer.

It is amazing to me how this very diverse group of largly unkown people can be such a sourse of strength. It is very likely that i will be speaking at the funeral so your prayers are much coveted. Dave is now in the hands of a God he did not know, however he left a family that needs to fall into that same Gods arms. I struggle to find a way to convey this with utmost compassion.

I think you are more than qualified to bring exactly what the hurting hearts need to hear Ferd.

Please know we are praying for you and your family!!! I am so sorry to hear about your loss... Sorry I didnt see this thread sooner but I have only been on the forum once or twice in the last couple of weeks really...

I also want to thank you for your kindness in coming to the hospital and visiting us and we are so glad we got to meet finally!!! My mother was very lifted by the mention by someone other than me that there were ones out here praying..... It just makes you feel good to know that you have family of like minded believers out there sending up prayers on your account and we are glad to say that we are doing just that for you right now at this time and will continue to do so!
