I have hair almost to my knees and thank God I dont need no hot sticks!!!! God has seen fit to make it start being naturally curly in the last few weeks (how weird is that.) my daughters was the same way we both had hair straight as a nail until a few weeks ago and then poof... we pray for straight hair now...

BTW... I personally wouldnt put them debil sticks near my hair... I lost all of my hair 4 1/2 yrs ago and now its this long and I dont plan on messin wit it!!!! :)

LOL... no silly! I had a relapse of the bad C stuff but God took care of it.... The only damage done by the hot sticks was the drainbramage.....

Oh Lord... the ladies in our church we just moved away from... they all still use them and my daughter came back from HYC begging me for some... I dug out a couple of the sticks I still had burried from yrs back and told her that was the last of the loopy devils allowed in my house her hair was too curly already! She didnt argue either

I still have a set of "hotsticks"....I don't use them "hot" though. :) I roll em in my hair cold and uh......SLEEP on em. I guess I have a higher tolerance of pain than most. :slaphappy ......they do give me curls for days since my hair is very fine and straight...like baby hair.

So, is curly hair outta style now? Do any of you ladies "roll" your hair on anything else to get some curl....or do you get one dem debblish "perms" instead? :slaphappy

I believe they make soft sticks like this that you could use to sleep in and they wouldn't be so hard.
