What Can You Thank HIM for Today???
 

I would like to give thanks to the Lord for the little things he does on a daily basis for me to know that he has neither left me nor forsaken me.

I thank him for the ministry of HIS spirit!

...hmmm very interesting, I didn't think this thread would need a bump.

I am thankful everyday that my son and husband are alive.

A couple weeks ago we were on vacation and they went to the beach and they almost drowned. To hear my husband tell the story and how he humanly doesn't know how he was able to get them both to shore...we know it was God.
It just made it more real to me that God does watch over us everywhere we go. I am thankful that God does care about me and everything I go thru.

I'd like to praise and thank the Lord for His goodness......how could I be grouchy or mean with what all the Lord has provided. Not one time have I had to go to the dumpster for a meal, nor do I have to live at the dump because that's the place my food comes from......there are people every day that do just this, but God has seen fit to best me with food and a house and a wonderful family. And that's just for starters. Many many forums should not be able to contain all that God has done for us.

If your still breathing praise Him!!!! David said let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. He didn't say let everything that is prospering and in good health Praise the Lord......He didn't say let all that are feed and happy with their present situation praise he Lord...He didn't even go so far as to say let everything that is filled and fired up praise the Lord.........LET EVERYTHING THAT HATH BREATH PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!!!!

I'm thankful for Him in my life guiding me with my hand in His... and all that it entails.

Through it all, He's with me.

That is an exceeding and precious promise....Lo I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.......

Hold on to that my friend. Better days are a coming.......or should I say a better day will come and we'll be changed like He is........

Wow, the list is long! However, one thing in particular popped into mind when I read the title of this thread...

Friends. I am thankful for friends. God being the ultimate friend, knew we needed friends in our lives. I have some awesome friends. Some are new, some have been around awhile, some are near, some are far, some I haven't seen for awhile, some I hope to see in about week when I head south. And some I have yet to meet! ;)

Thank God for friends.

I remember going through a particularly rough time and the constant thought that went through my head was, "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help, my help cometh from the Lord who made heaven and earth."

I think this beats hoping you win the lottery in order to solve your problems.

I am thankful for my baby girl, for my husband, and for having God's presence in my life every day.

I am thankful for my wonderful husband and 4 awesome children, for my home. For my Dad and Grandmother who I am blessed to get to be with everyday now and thankful that God touched my grandmother in such a mighty way this past weekend. She was found to have 2 blood clots in her neck and 2 in her stomach and one in her leg on Sat morning and today they are gone!!!

Thankful for my new home, thankful for all of my wonderful friends and for an awesome church.... Too many more to mention...

I'm thankful for a husband who loves God more than he loves me.

I'm thankful for four healthy kids, two of whom love God with all their hearts and two who will soon (speaking those things which are not as though they are...).

I'm thankful for a healthy, smart, and spoiled rotten grandson.

I'm thankful for my mom's progress through her cancer.

I'm thankful for a pastor who has integrity and character.

I'm thankful for a wonderful church with an awesome group of people who have a passion for ministry and want to make a difference in our community.

I am thankful my old Toyota is running again.

I blew a head gasket two weeks ago.

I'm thankful that you started this POSITIVE thread!!

And of course, I am thankful every single day for sparing Walt's life and allowing him to stay here with us for a while longer. Every day is a gift from God!!

I am thankful to God for giving us two wonderful sons who try out patience but bless us beyond measure.

I am thankful that when we fall down God is there to pick us up.

I am thankful for God's amazing grace. That He loved me before I was even here. and that His love is ever faithful and true.

I want to thank and praise the Lord for giving me another day! You know, saints, the debil has been all up on my back this week . . . .

*grin* Sorry, I hear that every now and then those few times our church has testimony service.



For real though, God's been good to me.

I'm just beginning a new job - one that I feel God answered prayers and has led me to.

Thankful for His love, grace, mercy and compassion that are new every day.

Thankful for the talents and abilities that He has allowed me to use for His honor and glory.

Thankful for my family and friends.

And I'm thankful for the trials and things in life that haven't been easy, but that have brought me to where I am now.

So thankful for "friends"! Thankful for those who were encouraging, affirming and who could identify with the struggle, discouragement, pressure and attack that comes with "ministry".

Thankful for God's amazing ways of showering favour and blessing on those He has chosen for difficult assignments.

Thankful for the divine appointment of and timing of the "ministering spirit" God sent our way today. Amazing! :bliss

I am thankful today for life, hope in Christ Jesus and the word he gave me this evening:

Gods delay isn't Gods denial!

I thank God for His faithfulness and affirmation once again of the vision He has given me for Peoples Full Gospel Church.

I thank God today for the word he spoke to me, through my Pastor last night, that just confirms what God has been telling me for the past few years.

I thank God that He truly is a 'personal savior'.

I am full of thanks today for the job HE has provided for my husband after several looong months of searching. GOD IS GREAT AND GREATLY TO BE PRAISED!!

i am thankful for all of his blessings, no matter what has come my way he has always stood beside me, he has blessed me far and away above all my dreams, Jesus is so sweet, thanks Lord, dt:hug3

I rejoice with everyone!

I thank God for his mercy and his grace and for not giving me what I deserve.

I thank God for my family this morning.

I thank him that his mercies are renewed each morning. That's good because I need it.

I thank God that He is a just God.

I thank God that He is Faithful.

I thank God that He is Love.

I thank God for He is merciful.

And yet His Word says He loves me, a mere human with many failures.

He has given me a wonderful husband of 35 years, a nice home, and food on the table.

He is always good!

Provision, protection, mercy, love, grace, His faithfulness..... every single day

BUT

TODAY... I am praising him for an answered prayer RE: a job for my daughter who is going into grad school in just a few weeks. She found out yesterday!

The hours are great and the pay much better than the place she is leaving!!!

Isn't that just like God?

God is Great!!
