The cards, thoughts, and pics of chocolate dessert are wonderful.

27 years today.

We are going to head out for dinner at Carrabba's where I will have one of my favorite dishes, the Pollo Rosa Maria.

We will probably do something more at a later date. At our age celebrations need to only happen on weekends when we can recuperate and rest up for them. LOL

We had a nice dinner at Carrabas. I was tired and really full so I did not even tell the waitress it was our anniversary until we were about to walk out.

She said I should have told her sooner that she would have gotten us a dessert. It was funny because I had not told her to avoid that since I was so full but by that time I was kind of hungry for something sweet so it made me regret my decision!

Got home and ate a bowl of good ice cream though.

Should have taken her to somewhere pricy like Ruth's Chris or Jimmy Kelleys you cheapskate.:poloroid:poloroid

Too broke! I am not complaining though. God has blessed me.

Absolutely! It is hard to believe that it was 27 years ago. Darrell Johns, Eddie, Mark Carouthers, and Steve Edwards were all in my wedding.

Back in those days we had night weddings and they were soooooo long. I don't think my wife and I left the reception until after 10 pm.

We spent the night in JAX and then the next morning flew to Atlanta to catch our flight to London. We were exhausted!!!
