Interesting weekend coming up!
 

WOW...of all things.
The Father of Pastor Jeremy Shields passed away this morning.
I and another man will be directing the services.
It is my understanding that Bro. Epely will be there....as will Old Paths and Wholehearted!

I want to say I am actually looking forward to meeting these men. Yes we do have our differences, and yes we have been "at it". But, at a time like this it is good to know we can work together to honor this great family.

I am hoping we can get a picture...
It is no secret who WH and OP are....so I hope we can take a picture together.....wouldnt that be a hoot!

Anyways...no tension...no stress....no "fighting"...just men getting together to honor a good man at the end of his life.

It doesn't look like I will be able to make it. My wife had a bad fall Tuesday nite and we think she may have broke 2 toes and hurt her hip. And the flights are out of sight on this short notice. I really want to come. Elder Jeremy Shields has been friend for years. I have known Elder Rex Shields and his family for over 35 years. His home is Bloomington, In. he has many relatives in my back door.

I hate that Bro....Give your wife our best..praying for yall.

Enjoyed a good time of fellowship with old paths last night in Burr Ferry, LA.

I picked the wrong weekend to go home. if Burr Ferry was last weekend, I would have gone one nigh.

I was bless to have had fellowship with Acteon, Old paths and his son in law, RP, and many other good men of God last night. Just to sit at the table with these men of God was a privilege.
