Tv Results In The Mail!
I have heard that the forwards are in the mail!
These contain the results of the mail out survey cards. HEEEEEEEEEEEEERE WE GO! |
You should have had them Fed Ex you your copy so you could break the news!
I am shocked that you or someone else on here that is well connected at HQ has not gotten a sneak peek at the results of the survey. |

Nope, but the mailroom guys know that it is not a smart move for them to leak anything...even if they would. I think most of them, if not all, believe in integrity.

Then the mods and libs would have known the results before the ultra cons since the REAL ultra cons don't have internet!!!:killinme |

I'll back you up 100000000% percent the guy who actually takes the mail to the post office is a friend of ours, and he is very, very trustworthy - I was seriously joking in my above post and another friend works in the mailroom/shippping dept. If integrity cannot be found elsewhere at WAP, you can find it in these folks....I guarantee!!! |
Why the huge secracy about the results of the survey?
|
Maybe they have all taken an oath to wait until everyone has received them, then at 9:00 a.m. on 8/29 they will all open them at the same time!

It would be funny if the result was 50/50.
I will go on record right here and right now predicting the suvey results will be approximately 65% against the TV resolution and approximately 35% for it give or take 5-7% |

WHERE are we going? :coffee2 |
I think it will be 75% for and 75% against. :hypercoffee

Well,
as the results are really off because so many licensed ministers did not send them in, I really am taking no stock in the results. I am wondering if many are just tired of the drama in all this. I know I am. |

not that the results will matter much...those that are gonna do something one way or an other, will find a reason to do "it" anyway...you know? no matter what side they are on..and no matter what their "it" is... |
somebody said only 2000 or so responded out of 9000 or so
so you only have 22% of the info.... then again probable no more than 3000 will actually go and vote sooooooo it is possible that the results could tell which side is going to win especially if it is a landslide. Say 80-20 or so |
Based on that information, it looks to me like the fellowship as a whole feels disenfranchised.

I think many are tired of it dragging on and on and on. And the point is most UPCI saints have TVs. I know that they're two different issues but still ....... just seems sad that there has to be so much division and angst over an "issue" that in my mind is not worthy all the turmoil. Or perhaps there really isn't all that much turmoil in the "real" world. The virtual world of these forums makes it seem like it's a HUGE issue but when I've talked to some of the pastors it's kind of like "ho hum". They'll vote one way or the other but it's not really like such a huge deal as I hear so much about in the virtual world. |
I believe the lines have been drawn by both sides. As Theresa said, "those that are gonna do something one way or an other, will find a reason to do "it" anyway...you know? no matter what side they are on..and no matter what their "it" is..."
|
Ill say this much....IF only 2000 came in....then that tells me that 7,000 dont really care.
AND IF of those 2000 the majority is FOR tv...then its a no brainer! Since the whole purpose of the poll was so the cons could show it will split the org! |

Thank you for expressing my view on this AGAPE! But the VOTE says.... I am one of the 88% who did not get to sending this in. If it had been Internet enabled, I would have done it the first day. I can pay dues via the net, but cannot not send in a survey that is supposed to be unbiased and should have been independant. There are companies who specialize in this very thing- online surveys. Save the person having to scan the cards in and let me do a SurveyMonkey survey like companies like HP use. I forgot, we are not talking a org ready for technology. Shoot me. :coffee2 |

This survey may very well cause more trouble rather than help settle this issue. |

what matters to them is not what is being discussed by the vocal majority. |

As others have said I think the deciding factor may well be which side has the most show up at GC.
I still maintain that the measure will fail by a decent margin. I would guess that probably the pastors representing a clear majority numerically of the org.s saints are for the TV resolution and more but since their vote counts the same as the us four and no more crowd pastoring a handful that means nothing. I believe there is also a substantial number of preachers who personally are for the resolution but who value the unity of the mothership more than evangelism and the Great Commission. That is a derogatory way of stating their position but I believe it is true. |
