That line just went through here. 70 mph winds. lots of rain. It's a very narrow line, but pretty powerful. There was a report of a tornado touchdown on the other side of our county.

It looks like it's headed towards Barb and Subby now.

The good news is that once it's through, it's clear sailing behind that

We had to evacuate as we live in a double-wide modular...my brother, Rob, came and picked us up as the winds were 80+ mph. You would not believe the rain...it seemed to come down in buckets and it just swirled. The sky was so dark and the air thick...

It still feels 'funny' out there and we are under a thunderstorm watch till 11:00, but the tornado missed us, thank the Lord!! It did some damage in Fenton, which is about 15 minutes SW from here.

God bless you all for praying for us...we are fine!!

Just saw this morning's news report...in Fenton, there are trees down all over, power lines down, it's estimated over 100 homes damaged (one of my brothers lives in Fenton).

BUT no one was seriously injured. Authorities believe it is because they received advance notice it was coming and most headed to their basements.

I give the glory to God for His protecting hand and allowing them to see this coming...

All is well here. There was a tornado warning, and we all headed to the basement for about 1/2 hour, then it passed. We just lost our cable connection, so I couldn't post.

That's when you should call instead!

She told me today that everything went out...cable, phone...everything.

Our lights went off and on 2 or 3 times before we left but didn't stay off.

My mother, God bless her little heart, wanted to stand out there on the porch while the lightning was popping from heaven to earth!!

I made her get in the closet in our den and sit on a chair until Rob came to get us...I was in there, too, with a flash light and my cell. She's been laughing about this while telling everyone and their granddad about it on the phone. :telephone
