What Kind of Toilet Paper Do You Use?

In the spirit of D4T, just trying to get a feel for the AFF family.

MissBrattified 08-30-2007 11:48 AM

More importantly, which way do you put the roll on the roller? :coffee2

We use Scott when my husband buys it, and Cottonelle when I'm shopping.

Amos 08-30-2007 11:49 AM

The paper must always come over the top.

We are a Charmin Ultra family.

a quick glance at the annual earnings....you better throw in "or what brand of bidet' do you use"

btw, once the thread spawning reaches this type of evolution, "the end is near".....(strangely coincidental and fitting)

Fundamentally speaking, you are correct.

Great analogy.

We're just the opposite at our house. If I buy the TP it will be Scott. If Walt does (which only happens rarely, thank the Lord!) he gets Cottonelle. He says the Scott is too hard on his tush. I tell him he's lucky he doesn't have to use it every time!

Digging4Truth 08-30-2007 11:55 AM

These type of things go well for a while and then that special person who has what it takes to take the low ground comes along....

And then it is all downhill from there. :)

LOL! I feel the same way...Jeff is looking for the best deal, and I'm always looking for the best feel! :D

RevDWW 08-30-2007 11:59 AM

We're saving up for a 8000 square foot house that costs 3.5 million and our income is less than 1 million a year so we use Sears and Roebuck or corncobs when in season.............

:killinme:killinme:killinme:killinme

All of the above is fictional, any similarity to anyone living or dead is purely coincidental.

Malvaro 08-30-2007 12:02 PM

It is painfully obvious that the quality of discussions here on AFF has digressed recently....

LaVonne 08-30-2007 12:03 PM

Kirkland brand from Costco.

Looks to me like you're just trying to take a swipe at the authors of those 'other' recent AFF polls. Don't let the banality of it all plunge you to this level of retaliation. You sound like you're probably drained from a lack of proper rest. You had better get a handle on your mental health before you crack up plumb crazy. Here is my reading: your credibility has tanked and your rivals are flush with popularity. Unplug from the internet so you can purge yourself of this jealosy and work on your attitude until everybody here is simply bowled over by your clean, refreshing and upbeat conversation. You should keep a log of your progress. No job is considered finished until you've completed the paperwork.

Pragmatist 08-30-2007 12:46 PM

Over the top and Cottonelle. One of the few items where I don't buy the generic version. :)

AmazingGrace 08-30-2007 12:46 PM

Cottonelle most definitely and over the top!!!

I am surprised our toilet paper flipper hasnt weighed in on this one yet..... DORAAAAAAAA where are you?

Remember if you ever invite Dora to your home if you put your tp under it will be forever changed!

Margies3 08-30-2007 12:47 PM

It cracks me up that the threads asking for the value of your home or your personal income have gone extremely well on here. But ask someone about their toilet paper choice and you've gotten a bit too personal. LOL Aren't we a strange lot of people!! :killinme :killinme :killinme

Ya know what.... this is exactly what I expected from this group!!!!!!! ROFL its hysterical! :hypercoffee

Margies3 08-30-2007 12:50 PM

There were 5 kids in my family growing up. As each grew up and moved out, my mom told us there was one specific thing with each kid there was one specific thing that she suddenly had to buy alot less of.

With my brother it was milk.

with my sister it was laundry soap

with another brother her water bill dropped significantly.

when I moved out - she bought half as much toilet paper. Geesh!!!!

SDG 08-30-2007 12:57 PM

The whole roll in one sitting. Sandpaper is ideal.

AmazingGrace 08-30-2007 12:58 PM

Margie!!! Thats too funny, my parents said the same thing about me!

When we left OKC... I got all the TP and brought it home to my mom and dad just to repay them for all they lost in all my years.......... 12 cases of it!!!!!!!! ROFL

SisTammyActs238 08-30-2007 01:03 PM

Sherri 08-30-2007 01:06 PM

Only CHARMIN!!!! Even when we were dirt poor, this was our one splurge!

ForeverBlessed 08-30-2007 01:17 PM

I think it is AngleSoft?? Green/White package at Walmart that is the cheapest in bulk packages... 24 double rolls for $5.46? something like that. Hey, with three teen girls, I buy the cheapest... or should I say the softest cheapest... I will not buy Scott.. my mom bought that and we absolutely did not have money problems growing up... I just don't know what her problem was, but she was a toilet paper Sheriff.. and kept watch on how much we used of that cheap stuf.... geez.

I will try to rectify the situation to the miaximus.

:killinme

There's hope that you will purify yourself?? (1 John 3:3) That's great news!

And here I thought you'd already gone to pot. Take it slowly - unraveling the bowels of the human psyche can swiftly become a swirling vortex of confusion. Take some time to digest what you learn, and don't be afraid to vent to a confidant when your thinking becomes perforated. You must push diligently, though, as recovery from such ailments doesn't happen by accident. Even if you miss your mark from time to time, don't let it divert you from your stream of progress. Don't let others fill you with a false sense of urgency - you'll know when you are ready to go. When you have finally washed your hands of your mental problems, I'm sure you will make a big splash with your return.

Timmy 08-30-2007 01:53 PM

Can't answer right now.

Gotta run!
