Three Year Old Boy in Need of Urgent Prayer

I just received this email from one of the men in the church I pastor. The email gives all details. The only thing that is not mentioned in the letter is the fact that the parents are Apostolic. PLEASE add this boy -- and this family -- to your prayer list, as the doctors have just informed the family there is no hope (medically).

Brother Riggen,
I would like you to pray for a family that we know. My wife and I were raised with Natalie, the mother of Evan DeMello. Evan was born with a heart condition that left him with no choice but to have a heart transplant. He is only 3 yrs old. He had this transplant about 10 weeks ago. After a long and tough road the Doctors have told them that there is nothing left to do and that Evan is going to die. Now it is in the parents hands on when they stop treatment. Sean, Natalie, and Evan are at the Children's Hospital in St. Louis. They have a web site established by the hospital and they have kept everyone updated over the past 3 months or so. They are able to blog daily and tell what they are going through that particular day. This morning, Sean, the father, has posted a blog that says they are completely broken hearted and don't know what to do. The link to thier web site is www.cotaforevand.com. If you would please have the church pray for this need I would appreciate it. Thank you so much. I know our church can touch God through their prayers. In Jesus name, Amen.

I'm sure that you all are as confused as we are. I'm going to try and explain what is going on as best I can. Last night, the "team" sat us down for a somber talk. They basically said that we are coming to a crossroads. Their exact words were "We are reaching the end of what medicine can do" Their other comment was that Evan is probably not strong enough to make it through another infection. (He has been running a fever on and off up to 103) but the cultures are not showing anything. They said that while the dialysis is working right now, if it stops working, leaks, or gets infected, that he is not in any shape to get a kidney transplant. They also said that blood dialysis (hemo) may not be an option either because his veins are all "shot". The other huge concern is his blood pressure is very low (50's). They had to start dopamine back to bring it up. His right lung is also partially collapsed because of excessive fluid buildup. The dialysis can run him dry on cellular level, but he can still be swollen with fluid. Its a complex balancing act that they are having trouble balancing. Everything is minute to minute, his vitals are all over the place right now. We humbly ask that You would have mercy on this family! Lord, if

you would see fit, would you let (allow,permit) this little angel boy

to live. I am sure his parents would give YOU all the praise, honour

and glory. When man reaches the end of their abilities, then THERE

IS GOD!! We ask in Jesus Name! Thank You for what You will see fit

to do!

SUPERNATURAL THINGS HAPPENED -

# 1 - I Placed A Call To Bro Kenneth Reeves' Church
In Illinois And I Was Told That He Could Not Come To
The Phone Because GOD Instructed Him To Have The
Entire Church To Come Up Around The Altar And Pray
For Bro Holland's Son -
# 2 - I Called Bro Cavaness,
# 3 - Bro Starr,
# 4 - Bro Hulon Myre,
# 5 - Bro Jordan
# 6 - Bro Holmes,
# 7 - Bro Barnes
IN THE ABOVE ORDER
AND
WAS TOLD THAT
ALL OF THEIR CHURCHES
WERE DOING THE SAME !

" GOD WORKS ON BOTH ENDS OF THE LINE "

TALK ABOUT INCREASING MY FAITH

JUST FOUR DAYS

AFTER MY SON HAD BEEN GIVEN

4 to 6 HOURS TO LIVE

WE TOOK HIM HOME

FROM THAT HOSPITAL !

Doctors William Bash & Benjamin Ashman
Of Johns Hopkins Hospital
Both Acknowledged The Above Miracle !

THAT SAME GOD IS STILL WORKING MIRACLES !

Right now, his parents' faith is high. They are believing for a miracle. Let us continue to pray that God intervenes.

I don't know if all know it but my one of my grandsons had heart surgery twice...I share very closely the pain of the child's suffering. I am praying...Thank you Kanas Preacher for the information. Blessings to you and yours.

Little did I know that this little boy was the grandson of someone I have known for years, and he just told me about his being sick just two months ago. Since I didn't know his oldest daughter, I had no idea that little Evan was his grandson, and I'd been keeping my eye on this boy since this thread started.

I am saddened to say that he passed on as God's angel on Oct 4th. I found out he was David Walls' grandson when I read the obituary.

Please keep the family in your prayers. This is heartbreaking to me and I didn't even know him.
