Are people actually being asked not to Post?? or being restricted on what is posted?

Has the Ownership of this Forum been in Hot Water by others therefore "cracking" down on posters??

I for one have never been banned... maybe was on edge at times but never banned... but I am seeing more and more a driving away of folks that have been at the very least interesting... but is the "strong arm" of the Law being flexed by peer pressure or just what???

It seems that if another forum opened that was a bit more free I may look elsewhere too.. But I have grown to the love the family here... step-kids, black sheep and all....

revrandy, all of the traffic has been diverted elsewhere. I am sure this will change around October 1st. That is when the "big issues" will have been settled and debate can reopen.

Until then, the release of information is being tightly controlled by a group of about ten men.

Those who own forums control the release of information. There are three forums of any consequence in Oneness Pentecostalism. All of them are owned by conservatives.

Two of the three forums are currently only allowing conservative thought to be posted. This one seems to be under pressure to follow that trend.

Be patient... I'm reading "Power before the throne" right now... I'm sure I'll have something to say soon.... I have just learned that moving away from standards is a "satanic falsehood"... and I am only on page 16. No worries though, the book didn't actually start until page 15.

of the three is this considered to be "one" of those forums or no?

and are all three public or "ministerial" only?

I have heard there is another forum (Not NFCF) that is looking to be formed...quite soon.

Can't post any news at all...no matter how true it is....because that would be gossip....even if it is truth.

CAF - Preachers Only
GNC - Open to the Public
Wordshare - Preachers Only
Godspace - Youth website with little traffic (we won't count them in this consideration)

I don't think there is any real collaberation between them. They are just truly conservative, that's all. Currently, I am not a forum owner.

This ban on Trinitarian debate is of not consequence since almost all of us are Oneness ... atleast I am. Admin temporarily closed a thread on Jesus name baptism in Deeper wated citing the same announcement but then re-opened it.

Some our resident Oneness scholars/ninjas might get bored.

Of the forums on that list.... i'd imagine that AFF is WAY more relaxed/open-posting than any of those.... jmho

Recently someone called it a "glorified GNC" ... I just chuckled.

I noticed that. Why do the poster's who complain the most, contribute the least? I can understand his objections, but those who complain about content should at least post something of worth themselves.

a) maybe they actually have day-jobs that don't let them sit at a computer all day and immediately answer your questions.... :D
