Mona. Vie-Acai Fruit Drink

I was handed a bottle of this fruit juice just before I had my accident.
Has anyone heard of it, or tried it?

http://www.acaiberrycompany.com/

It is made from the acai berry which is found in the mountains of Brazil.
It also has 18 other berries as well.
Maybe Sis Alvear may know?

I am starting it tonight.

Anyone know anything about it?:hypercoffee

Maybe it was a bit on the "hard" side and caused your fall? :killinme

:soswhy is it dangerous! I have a fruit smoothie every morning made with Acai and I'm beginning to think it is addicting? Seriously.....but they tell me (the fruit smoothie owners) that it has the most nutritional benefits of any fruit even more than blueberries and pomegrantes. But nothing about it being dangerous...........ooooh I'm so curious now!!!

I just started drinking this a few weeks ago & would love to know why it is dangereous. They fail to tell you that when they give you the speel.

There are several of those special juice drinks that are being promoted as having special health and curative powers --sorta like the old time medicine shows.

Why do Christians get caught up in stuff like "miracle juices", Amway, etc. etc?

Probably the most dangerous thing is the pyramid scheme where everyone is told to recruit family, friends, and neighbors as sales people so that you get a percentage of everything these recruits sell. Then those recruits have to get their family, friends, and neighbors as their distributors so they can get a percentage of what those folks sell.

Isn't there some kind of law against that?

My mom's 81 and swears by it. Who knows, I took a bottle and couldn't really tell a difference. Others in my family drink it religiously though and have not complained or had any side effects. I think the bottle looks to much like wine...

Ron,

My boss has been drinking this juice for about six months and he swears that it has helped him. He says it has helped his energy level and his joints. My boss’s daughter is an RN and she recommended the juice. I tried it but didn't like the taste.

But there the tiny bit you get is more like an enegry drink and it willhelp cure a lot of things...

Maybe you can post for me as I have to run pick up some people at the airport. thanks...and blessings...

I know a couple of people with high blood pressure that have cut back on their meds (drs supervision) after starting to drink Mona Vie.

ive been drinking it for a couple of weeks and have a physical in another week or so. if my colestoral comes back lower than normal for me then i will likely buy into this deal. if not, i will scrap it.

also, my spelling is really bad tonight so forgive me.

I bumped this thread up as I just started drinking this juice about a month ago. I would also like to know who it is dangerous? Any word yet as of to what is bad about the Acai? I have found it to have dropped my blood sugar and the joint pains are not as bad! I dont like the taste, but 2 oz can be washed down with water real quick, its not that bad..lol

I take it, my Mom's 82 and drinks it, my brother sells it, so we're all still alive. My Mom swears by it.

I wondered where this thread had disappeared to.
I have since found out that this venture is actually backed by the Mormons.
Some say it helps them, it does nothing for me except drain my wallet!

I guess it is up to the individual.

Pyramid's are illegal. Not all mlm networking companies are pyramids. If you have a good product and a good networking plan it can be profitable for everyone. One company that I know of puts 58% of it's profits back into its distributors and it is a completely debt free company. They are building a 1 million square ft manufacturing plant that should be done in June or July and it is completely debt free and they have been around for over 20 years. A mlm with that kind of background would be a good one to get involved in.

In TENNESSEE its legal as long as there is a product to sell.
