He is preaching for us tonight here in the northeast of Brazil. We are looking for a great time and a wonderful service.

I may not agree with him some of the time, but he is a tremendous preacher, you should be proud that he is in the family.

Yes, he is a wonderful preacher. Their may be some things we all see different but we all love the same Jesus.
Sometimes Keith peer pressure makes us seem to be something we are not. Jonathan is a person that really loves the Lord and has a deep burden for souls...I speak this his aunt not as a defender of the organization he has belonged to.

Just heard a message on HGR by Bro. Jonathan Alvear titled, "Return to Apostolic Supremacy." Awesome message! Recorded last year, but hit home to what I've been feeling lately.

I should have posted that I heard it on HGR a few days ago. I bought the mp3 off the website and have listened to it several times over again, including earlier when I posted.

I've felt what he spoke about feeling when he mentioned walking past the kid in the wheelchair and wanting to say "rise and walk," but passing him by and feeling filled with shame.

I typed up a response on your miraculous healing thread but for some reason my iPad kicked me out when i tried to post it. I'll try to do it again sometime today.

Growing up, Bro. J. Alvear was one of my favorite preachers. He came and evangelized at our church many times. He wasn't a screaming kind of preacher, but spoke from his heart. I loved hearing his stories of growing up on the mission field.

Bro. J.A. has long been one of my favorite preachers. Love his spirit and the way God uses him. His message "The Jesus that Judas Never Knew" is among my top 5 favorite messages of all time. I have been chewing on it for years, and have used concepts I have gleaned from it in many venues.

One of my favorite songs that Bro. Alvear used to sing at the church I grew up in.... In this video he is singing with Sis. Alvear's husband, Bro. Raul Alvear.

Bro. J. Alvear often would play this harp as he ministered to our church, and sing this song.
