My Pastors Wife is at GC @ is going to be speaking for a bit along with some other ladies (Vesta Mangun is speaking right after her) she is an excellent speaker & I will be tuning into hear what she has to say.

Was just wondering this morning how you were doing. :D

Hi Mrs!

I am still on the sick list (broken bones tend not to heal fast!)
They took off my my temp cast last week and took 25 staples out of both sides of my right leg-50 in total.
I asked the surgeon if they had a "special deal" on staples!:hypercoffee

I am now wearing a boot cast till I go back to the surgeon at the hospital at the end of October to see how it is healing up.

The prognosis is up on my recovery and if I will regain 100 % of my leg mobility
back.

In the meantime I am trying not to be bored and trying not to wear my wife out!
She helps me out with most things & the doctor says that I must keep any weight off of my right leg.

I am thankful to GOD that WCB accepted my claim and will be paying my wages.:hypercoffee

Was wondering why we haven't seen more of you with you being laid up and all! :laffatu

I'm sorry to inform you that the older you get, the slower your bones heal. Now, if you had been say, 25 or so, you'd probably already be up and at 'em.

I am feeling a bit better in the pain department, but some of the pain meds make me feel dopey!

Maybe they took everyones phone when they walked in...LOL!!! They did not want any live reporting!!!

I've been texting her since it started..she's not replying. Shes did try to send pictures but she said, bless her heart, I felt so bad for her.....she said "I've tried but they wont stand still, my pictures come out blurry"....I just laughed at her. I've put too much pressure on her...

she said "I want to get them for you for that girl"...she's confused about why I wanted them..I told her since Dora wasnt there to be our reporter, she had to do it for me :)

but alas, currently, she's in church - she's one of those that goes for the spiritual stuff too LOL!..

tonight should be better as more will be there...and Friday night should really be good.!

God love her, she went all by her self...but she always does. I wish I could have gone with her. Next year, I will...for sure. I was going to try and go this year but it was too much right now.
