Record Numbers - General Conference

They had 2,100 chairs our for the Business Session.....
They are full and still putting out chairs....Estimated voters for today is at 2,600.

Seeing as the big vote is not until tommarow.....could be close to 3,000 voters.

More to come.

That's what happens when the Hatfield's and McCoy's all get together for a business meeting. They all show up...

Ferd 09-27-2007 02:23 PM

Or perhaps shows that most people don't care about the politics of it?

Pig Pen 09-27-2007 02:40 PM

I've always been told that folks generally show up to vote against something, not for something. Reckon whether that adage will hold true this year? :hypercoffee

I wish I could believe the first post in this thread.

Strong minded... you have prevaricated perhaps one time too many. I will not put ANY value ANY reports you make because you have chosen to destroy your credibility... in fun no doubt... but the credibility is gone!

Steadfast 09-27-2007 03:38 PM

The actual voting number is 1903 according to what was said over the pulpit. I would suspect that we'll have more than that tomorrow.

Thank you for a believable report, Kind Sir!

Sheltiedad 09-27-2007 03:48 PM

I just confirmed Steadfast's report with my dad as well...

Steadfast 09-27-2007 03:53 PM

There was some question about the number of 'ballot packets' handed out but it was a moot point as each 'voting member' only got 1 packet and there were 1903 counted on the floor.
