as far as I know, it was about appearing/having programs on it, too...

unless there was some sort of ammendment that no one knows about...

I can see POA with an hour long "infomercial" program with singing and preaching! Kind of like their Christmas concert that was aired on the local TV station as part of the Jambalaya program last year.

WE knew it would not be long before everyone here started trumpting this as if the rapture had happenned.

Yes I do. This person has a husband who is in the UPC, she isn't a preacher.

yes, thank you for asking, but I do attend a UPC church... its been 13 years since I attended a church that wasn't UPC regularly (and I was 10 then)...

Frankly, I am not happy at all. It's not because I am against Res 4...quite the contrary. I think it is a good thing.

My concern is over what happens next...that long time friends and brethren in Christ will separate over this issue.

It does not bring me joy...not at all...

Perhaps not as many as we think! We should pray for a quick healing of the wound that occurred today.

Hey Sandra, I am not sure how those pastors down on the front rows get invited - but Marie and I will be glad to come on that night and be there with you - we like the guest line up that night. Can you get me an invitation? PM me if you need to. JF asked us a couple times to go but we couldn't make it. We would love to see you!

I think that if there is a split, that what happens because of this is only the outward appearance of an inward wound that has been there for a long time...

Most that host on TBN do not consider themselves - Trinitarian - I know the Ex-UPC ones do not!

Wrong Darling.......Read the resolution...it states that the forbiddence of ministry and advertisements will be struck.

It always happens when the manual is printed right before Jan....

So the next manual will not include the forbiddence.

Sandra...just landed in San Diego from GC. You know I would be there....I was planning on attending Paula's church before we left. I will be watching. Wish I could be there. Will be praying.

Is Tony Melendez the same guy who plays guitar with his feet because he has no arms? If so, he has an awesome testimony. I have a couple of his projects from the late 80's early 90's. He does a great job on the Lord's Prayer.
