The topics of these threads about the local gossip of the UPCI is driving me crazy. I'm taking time off until you guys can talk of something more interesting than T.V., Californica District, and GC.

Stay out of the Tab and onto the General Discussion area. Seriously.

If people don't want to read about certain things...don't click on it.

Right now, some of these things are current events in the UPC. We just came from a General Conference where 2 controversial resolutions were voted on and the implications of such we are seeing. If it does not interest you, stay out of the Tab or don't click on tabs that have that content in it.

There are more threads dealing with more relevant topics than what you describe here.

She didn't have a problem posting on them either, even just minutes before starting this thread, and she said nothing about it bothering her.

But you are right. If it bothers you, don't click and read!

The comment I made above may be interpretted as a personal rebuke. It is more universal then that in that if a topic does not interest you, you have the choice to not click into that thread.

Hey Rhoni I have one.We had a blast tonight.I have to share that one of the ladies that I met at the jail came to service Sunday night.She was a backslider and decided she had learned her lesson.God is good.She was up on the front pew worshipping.

sorry, not true... See, girls have unrealistic expectations in men...

They want a guy who is perfect in every way (even perfect in ways that are impossible and, sometimes, even contradictory to other things that they are)...

PLUS, the simple fact of the matter is, no matter how much those girls may want to get married, it takes them YEARS of wanting to get married before they realize that the bad boy is not the boy they want...

so its not just about guys "going out and finding thier rib"...

Girls???? There is the underlying problem.....immaturity.Find a woman and you

Ladies don't want irresponsible partners.Think on these things.
Ask yourself some deep questions like,"Am I prepared to have a long term relationship financially?" You cannot live on love.A long term relationship that

and I know what you mean, but being a guy, its not as simple as being those things because, when it comes down to it, that's not what girls want...

That's why things like "the Pickup Artist" are so popular (and thier techniques work)...

girls say they want a good guy, and deep down they do really want a good guy, they just, more often than not, don't pick the good guys until after they've been with enough ............ guys to realize that isn't what they want, or don't ever pick them at all...

that's not what most single women nowadays (even those in the church) want...

at least, by thier actions, that's not waht they want because a lot of times the guys who are like that, don't have girlfriends... (and no, they don't have wives either)

For some of us, the UPCI is a big part of the LIFE that we have.

I suppose "therapy" and "counseling" is more interesting???

I personally think NOT! Thats my personal opinion.

If you don't like the UPCI talk, GET A LIFE and get off the forum!

No way you got me pinned wrong.I have a wonderful hubby.I don't however iron his underwear or his socks.Forget it buster he does the laundry around here.I work twelve hour shifts and bring home big moola.I am the nurse with the purse.I just don't like whinning.Women don't want whiners we want real men.Men with jobs and businesses.Men who pray and fast and support us in our endeavors and we in theirs.No issues with men here.I just see alot of men and women in the church unmarried and harping when the truth is alot of them could not submit if they had to and others could not support if they
had too.For all of those mentioned do the rest of the church a favor....stay single.:killinme
BTW I am a fantastic cook and have alot going for me on a personal basis.My husband is happy with me.He is my fishing,camping buddy and always has been.The men in church stood to attention when I voiced a prayer request about a decison to buy him a new boat.A few of them even volunteered to help me check out motors.haha....

You have well said! And I know that you are an honorable woman so whoever it is that thinks you have issues with men is nuts:)!:sshhh BTW...you are on target about those single harpin' people. Most of the singles I have met in the past 4 years who are in the church...the men don't work, and the women have little to no respect for them. So those...no work males...may they stay single and those independent women who work and are praying for a husband...I bet they'd submit if they found a real man.:hypercoffee
