Prayer for MOW - Korea

Just received a call asking that we pray for MOW!

He's in Korea with his son and don't know any details, but we need to reach out on his behalf!

Margies3 10-08-2007 07:09 PM

Oh goodness! Lord, we ask that you place a hedge of protection around our friend MOW and his son right now!! Keep him safe and secure within your arms, letting no harm come to either of them. these are your servants, Lord. We lift them to you. and we give you honor and glory and praise because we know that you are ABLE. You can do for them what none of us can even begin to do. In Jesus' mighty and holy name. Amen!!!

Just decided to check in here from SOUTH Korea when I saw this thread so figured I'd give a quick update. I am in Seoul staying with my son, who is a Sgt. in the Military Intelligence Division.

I preached in a UPC church here in South Korea somewhere. I couldn't find it again if I had to. I will not share the location of the church I preached in for the protection of the pastor. However, at least this church doesn't fear the stigma too much of the sectarianism.

I will state though, that this pastor had many questions regarding justification and was probably leaning to the one-step viewpoint after being a three-stepper for many years. I feel that the Lord, in part, sent me half-way around the world to minister to this wonderful man of God. I played my flute and preached on the baptism of the HG. We had a great service and the pastor had me pray individually for EVERY person in the church, at the altar. Over 100 in attendance.

Not sure if I'll be preaching anywhere else or if I'll be logging on anymore while I'm here. No promises. Having a great time though!!! Flew here on Singapore Air, business and was treated like royalty. It was a free ticket with airline miles. Thanks for the prayers!!!!

Mow, thanks for sharing the good news.

God bless you! Good to have you and felicity back in the fold!

Saved and a part of God's kingdom at repentance, and that baptism and the Holy Ghost follow because of obedience. (The REAL truth!):nod;)

Apparently you all haven't been praying enough for me here in Korea!! I just had one of the biggest disappointments in a long time!

My son, Josh and I took the subway and a taxi to get to a park that has bungee jumping from 130' for only 22,500 wan or about $25. After getting there I was informed that I was too OLD to bungee jump!! What do they know!!! They said it was only for people from 15 to 50. I have never been so insulted!! Too OLD!!! It's not like I was using a cane or a wheelchair or something. How humiliating.

Visiting a Bible School on Monday morning. It is basically a Presbyterian school but the President is oneness and teaches oneness with no restrictions!! The pastor I will be going with just returned from China.

Too old.....humph!! :IAM

Brother MOW, prayer changes things - but not EVERYTHING. Unfortunately, no matter how much we pray, you are still old. :runhills

rgcraig 10-14-2007 09:28 AM

Maybe our prayers WERE needed to keep you from doing this!

That is a bit funny though..........did you have to show them your driver's license? Carding for bungee jumping - - now that's a new one.

The Mrs 10-14-2007 10:15 AM

Thanks for touching bases again....Grampa! :heeheehee

Always good to hear from you!

And I agree with Renda...that man that denied you probably saved your life! They probably fear folks having heart-failure! :lol

MOW, they figure by age 50 one should be smart enough to not want to take foolish risks!

If only Rhoni was still here we could find out what is reeeeally wrong with you!

Well...it COULD be worse!

There is always that 'incontinent' thing that comes with old age. They were probably just trying to protect themselves. :IAM

Can we make that 40?

I am afraid if I jumped off a tower or out of an airplane it's not so much the #1 you would need to worry about... I am thinkin #2 :scorebad

rgcraig 10-14-2007 11:08 AM

Yet you climb around on tops of houses all day!!!!

Well, since we were talking about MOW and I was thinking of men's needs, I had originally put the age at 40. But then I realized women probably jump as well, and changed it 35 for those who have bore children. :lol
