Good-Bye For A Little While

Well, I'm just letting you all know that I am taking a little Vacation. I am going to visit my parents for about 6 weeks and I am leaving on Tuesday the 16th. I may or may not have access to the Forum while I am there so I am letting you know what's up. Mr Boomm will be on his own so be nice to him. lol He will be joining me around the 15th of November and we should both be back on on Friday the 23rd. Just in time for the day after Thanksgiving sales....lol.
You may or may not notice that I am gone, as I do not post that much, but just in case this is what I am up to. I am posting this now as I may not be on much because i will be busy packing my bags. :bliss:bliss

I'm so glad you get to take a nice break and go visit with your parents Mrs. Boom! 6 weeks sounds wonderful! I'm sure you'll all have a GREAT time! :thumbsup

MrsBOOMM 10-11-2007 11:37 AM

Thanks everyone, for all you well wishes. Six weeks does seem like a long time, I am just trying to get the most out of one ticket! It was Boomm's idea to go for this long.....still not sure just what to think of that. lol. He know's that I do miss my parents and he does too, and they will not be around forever.

Sis. MrsBOOMM,

Sounds like you have a very thoughtful husband. And no

doubt he will spend the time when things are quite and perhaps

a bit lonely, for some extra time in quietness and in confidence,

before his God! There is strength in being alone with God. There

is renewal there. There is new direction. There is closeness with

our Father there!

May this be a wonderful time for both of you, in Jesus Name!!

Blessings,

Falla39

It will go by before you know it!! Hope you have a wonderful time.

Scott Hutchinson 10-11-2007 11:52 AM

We'll miss you and maybe your parents can take you to Dairy Queen.
I'll tell something on BOOMM that is funny.
I called him on the phone and told him who I was and he starts talking to me about a data base,He thought I was somebody from a computer related situation.
I just let him keep talking for a while.
Have a good visit Sister Boomm.

See Scott's post about the database issue for a good guess. Sounds like BOOMM's gonna be a hermit for a while. Best to clear out the women-folk so he can feel at liberty to smash up the furniture, that's the only way to straighten out the really tough mySQL problems. :)

At our church, if the wife has to be away for an extended period of time, the rest of us step in and provide meals for the husband (and children if there are any) while she is gone.

BOOM, do we need to do that for you while Mrs. BOOM is away? What would you like? What kinds of food do you not like so we can avoid those? I'm sure we could get people to sign up - right, folks?

Ron 10-11-2007 03:27 PM

Everyone needs a break and you deserve one. Have a great trip & enjoy yourself!

chosenbyone 10-11-2007 04:55 PM

I read before that you were looking forward to this trip. I hope you have a great time with your folks.

May God bless and keep you safe while you travel.

LOL , I am sure that would get old real quick, I mean for six weeks?? Besides we live behind the Redwood Curtain, you don't come here unless you really mean to. haha. But thanks for the thought, it is really appreciated. Our church does that sort of thing to, but no one has mentioned doing anything as far as I know, unless they are not telling me.

MrsBOOMM 10-11-2007 05:00 PM

Thanks everyone for your sweet thoughts. I do plan to have a great time. I have not seen my brother's family since 2003 and I will be seeing them as well. I am just thankful to God that I am going to get to go. I started planning this trip at the beginning of the year, but landing in the hospital put me a little behind schedule. I will keep you guys in my thoughts and prayers.
