I Just Put all my Harley Gear on Ebay!!

I spent nearly all afternoon taking pictures and putting all of our Harley stuff on Ebay. Well, I still have a few things I haven't listed yet, but I got really tired. We sold the Road King, so now I have all this "stuff" that we won't use without a bike. Someone is going to get some great deals on Ebay!!!

My mother and MIL are THRILLED that we got rid of the bike, by the way. They were always thinking we were going to get run over.:reaction

Now if we can convince CC1 to sell his bike and give the money to missions... Door knocking always works better walking anyway.

I need a Harley and then I can minister to Hell's Angels.
My wife can be my biker chick.

Well, I wore the boots, the leather jacket (a really CUTE one, by the way), and the whole gear. And I really loved riding, but I guess it was a phase and now we're done with it. Too much responsibility in our lives, as of late, to do anything extremely risky.

AND.....we had to sell the bike to pay on our building fund pledge.:woohoo

Scott Hutchinson 10-13-2007 08:46 PM

I don't think my wife would ever let me ride her on a bike.

rgcraig 10-13-2007 08:47 PM

My ex-SIL might be interested in the Harley stuff - she rides with her hubby.

LOL....no, I was fully dressed, but it is VERY goofy looking!

Big ole riding boots w/capris is NOT a good fashion statement at all!

It IS a really funny picture, but unfortunately I don't have it saved on a CD or anything. It's in my old fashioned photo album in a hard copy form though!!

Renda is too good a friend to ever post a picture she wouldn't want on here! She probably has some of me that I want to hide also.

Moral compass anyone??:saycheese

Evang.Benincasa 10-14-2007 07:26 AM

While I have no problem with anyone being involved in Christ and riding motorcycles (I work on them and ride them) but I think a citizen trying to look like an outlaw's ole lady is a bit strange. It would get girls in trouble when I was in the world, they would walk into the bar with their girl friends and the real biker women would get upset.

I wonder how many Apostolic Pentecostals passed through my life disguised as bikers when I was back in the world?

I know what your talking about Bro... we have a Christian motorcycle club here, and they had a ride and meet at a church once... I was told that they all had knives and chains on their sides just like the bad guys... leather vest, with patches. I love to ride, but I refuse to look like the others...

It was a big bucket, however it fit very tightly with all the padding inside - it was Sherri's bucket and she doesn't have a big head.

Is this why it was frowned on to wear cowboy boots?

And cowboy hats?

And mustaches?

What a beautiful smile you have! You exude sweetness!

That was what you were told but you didn't see it for yourself...for crying out loud....I have seen a lot of bikers over the past 6 weeks when we bought our Harley.................NONE of them had knives and chains on their sides....I would guess most men carry knives!!! How silly!!! I do know many carry guns though....I have for years!!!!

I have been for over 15 years....I used to carry a S&W 357...but it was so big and heavy, I just bought a Lady Smith hammerless with lazer grip...its a 5 shot 38....its very light and small and I can put it in my smallest purse and no one has a clue!

Well I gotta go now....hubby is warming up the HOG and I need to get ready to ride...be back later to see whats new!

What kind of bike is that? Ours was a Lava Red Road King (2005). I loved it, but it was time to let go. We rode lots of miles and took overnight trips; that was lots of fun. It was just something that Eddie and I really liked to do together.

I had a cute leather jacket, but no chaps. Eddie had chaps though. We never had do-rags or any fringe. It just wasn't us! LOL! Most of the people our age who ride are just middle class people who can finally afford a Harley; they are not hippies!!!!! And we never had chains or knives, just for everyone's information!

Sherri 10-14-2007 08:32 PM

Just checked my Ebay. After one day, I have sold $345.41!!!!! God is good!

Scott Hutchinson 10-14-2007 08:52 PM

Scott Hutchinson 10-14-2007 08:53 PM
