Glory Halleluiah!!!!!! \o/\o/\o/
My husband passed his kidney stone!! WooHoo!! That means no surgery for kidney stones!! That is such good news as he sure didn't need that on top of everything else. We see the oncologist tomorrow and it will be great to focus on "just" the cancer treatment. :)

This is wonderful news. I know they are painful. I am praying that God touches and heals your husband of the cancer without the treatment just like he did with the kidney stone. Neither are more difficult to God. Love & Prayers, Rhoni |
This is wonderful news!
I had to try and "catch" the last one that I passed so they could test it to see if it was the type where I could take meds for to keep them from forming. I was appalled at the shape of that thing.....oh my lord, it had a zillion burrs on it - - no wonder it hurts like hades when it's traveling through your body! I wouldn't wish one on my worse enemy! |

I would love my husband to not have to go through any treatments for cancer. That would be wonderful. Nevertheless, I will try not to question whatever happens. |
Algae,
That is good news! Keep us posted with updates. I will continueto pray. |

Here is a pic of my husband and I at his surprise b-day party the other night. I invited a few friends (both our old UPC friends and some new non-UPC friends). It was great to see everybody again!

And I'm so glad to hear that your husband passed the stone. that's ONE victory. Now we'll keep praying for more. :) (by the way, how does your husband feel about you passing along info online about his kidney function? LOL!! I know some men who would be mortified at the very thought of anyone else knowing stuff like this. Not Walt - let's be honest - look at the stuff you all found out about him thru the aneurism. We have no secrets anymore LOL) |

Anyway, he starts radiation next week and goes every day for five weeks. So, please pray for his strength to hold up....he seems to do well until the drs get ahold of him and then the treatments do him in. Bleah! I asked my husband way early on about sharing and he said he was okay with it, he needs all the prayers he can get. After reading this, I asked him again and he said "Health problems are nothing to be ashamed of. It's the stuff you do on purpose that are wrong that people need to be ashamed of." So, he has a real good attitude about it. He's had quite a good attitude about the majority of this. I think the hardest part is we were saving for a house out in the country and with what the insurance won't cover plus living expenses for the time he will be off of work, most of that will go **poof**. That's hard after all the **poof** we've already seen being in the ministry. Well, God knows..... |
