I would think you would be loving the lower cost of living even more. Of course the beaches aren't as good as in CA.

There is a manmade one somewhere out there everyone kept trying to tell me where it was but the only one I ever found was the one in my backyard after the rain would come.. it was attatched to the road that was flooded that formed the local ocean...

I have thought about it

I think RevRandy was the lead of this Tulsa meeting. I think he is the man behind this whole thing. He has played this game long enough....it is time to out him! LOL J/K RevRandy. Enjoy all the tornados that frequent the area.

They had some pictures of the storm in OK on the weather channel. It looked like a lot of debris and dirt in the air.

Scary!!!

RevRandy,

Have you gotten rid of all of your worldly short sleeve shirts since landing in OK? Is that antenna off the mobile home yet?

I find it a bit funny that most people view the OK district as conservative I'd consider it more moderate if anything.

revrandy 10-15-2007 02:53 PM

I will second what C1 has said...the churches here locally are extremely moderate..

Lake TenKiller comes to mind! Green Country is God's Country! Just a short drive up the pike!:pirate

philjones 10-15-2007 07:43 PM

I was blessed to drive in the rain that storm produced all the way from Lawton to Lake Charles! 8.5 hours in the rain.. often blinding rain! I am just thankful the tennis ball sized hail they were predicting for Lawton did not happen last night! God heard my prayer!

Seems like this was discussed in a recent conversation with a friend!

Perhaps conforming would be a better term than conservative... they conform to one another.

Now they ARE doctrinally conservative in most areas.. again there are exceptions in the area of the light or friends of the bride teaching.:)
