From the UPCI to the Tulsa Organizers!!!!!!!

[YT="I Need You to Survive"]-4ztzhM_vMU[/YT]
I need you, you need me.
We're all a part of God's body.
Stand with me, agree with me.
We're all a part of God's body.

It is his will, that every need be supplied.
You are important to me, I need you to survive.
You are important to me, I need you to survive.

I pray for you, You pray for me.
I love you, I need you to survive.
I won't harm you with words from my mouth.
I love you, I need you to survive.

It is his will, that every need be supplied.
You are important to me, I need you to survive.

Perhaps you should add the lyrics to the Mr. Rogers classic "Will you be my neighbor?" song.

I hope your not saying that you ONLY need the Lord to survive! If that's how you feel, I feel sorry for you bro!

RevBuddy 10-15-2007 10:26 AM

:violin Perhaps a better selection is "I Will Survive!" :tiphat

If it come down to that then yes that is what I am saying. I am more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus.

That's what I call a "wall builder". I don't need other people. In fact, if they don't agree with me 100% they are aborted from my circle. As long as I have God (and doesn't everyone?) I'll be alright!

The Songs says that we are all a part of God's body, and it's true! You might survive if you cut off one of your legs, but you have diminished your productivity.

More like this...

the Barney Song..

I love you...
You Love me...
We're a Happy Family...
with a great big hug & kiss from me to you...
Won't you say you love me too...

:D....maybe we could get Barney to go the Tulsa Meeting...

Kind of like in the movie "Blazing Saddles" where the black family is tagging along behind the white folks wagon train headed west. When the Indians attacked the white folks wagon train made a circle to fight back so the lone black familiy's wagon was all alone. The black family made up their own circle by driving really fast around and around in a circle! (there was a happy ending of course because the Indian chief was amazed they were darker than he was so he let them go with a Jewish blessing)

"Blazing Saddles" is one of the funniest movies of all time!

One of the town's men climbs up into the church bell tower to get a glimpse of the new sherrif as he arrives from a distance.

"The new sherrif is a...."(His voice is drowned out by sound of the church bells!)

"What?", yells the crowd below him on the street after the bells stop.

"I said, the new sherrif is a...."(once again his voice is drown out by the church bells!

About the time the bells stop ringing, the town gasps as a black sherrif rides in! :lol

I think this highlights what the differences really come down to. On one side there are people who are so judgmental of everyone else that they must form smaller and smaller associations to find like minded people.

You see a similar trend on the American political Left. While those on the Right are talking about "big tents" and being "color blind," the Left fragments into hundreds of special interest groups and then those groups fracture themselves as they seek to "purify" their ideology.

The (once) rather mainstream NAACP has been pressured to move its agenda toward hard core socialism after they lost ground to the Black Panthers and other "extremists." Meanwhile different factions have broken away - PUSH, Rainbow Coalition, Sharpton's group (I forget), the Black SWP and many others. All of these angry folks looking for ideological purity.

The environmentalists are the same. The big groups like NWF and the National Conservancy were accused of "compromise" by many of their brethren who broke away to form the more radical Environmental Defense Fund. But then the EDF became seen as nothing but a bunch of rich lawyers so or even more radical groups have sprung up.

The political Left in America are the real children of the "intolerant" Puritains of New England. No one seems to be "good enough" for any of them. Sadly we see the same behavior in the church.

But the fact of the matter is, no one can ever achieve the much sought after "purity" because we're all filthy (Isaiah 64:6) - and that's our righteousness that Isaiah is talking about, not our sins. Our sins are even worse! We desperately need a "gift of righteousness." We need righteousness that comes from some other source than our own works and pompous posturing. We need Jesus Christ! (Romans 3:22 and 1 Peter 1:1).

When you go to Tulsa, don’t forget the Cross of Jesus Christ.

I wish you all the very best.
