((((<<<EARTH SHAKING NEWS>>>))))))))UPC Evangelist......

************************************************** *****TOTAL SHOCK!!!!

Folks you are not going to believe this ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

a former UPC Evangelist from the Western District now is working for Jim Baker's son's church AND
.....AAAAAAAAAAAAND GET THIS!!!! Some film company is about to do a documentary on his life.....his walk from a ultra right wing fundamentalist to an out-gay man who preaches Gods love and acceptance.

You hear one of his "sermons" on Jay Bakker's church website.....he says that God accepts homosexuality (or understands it) because God calls us his BRIDE!!! WHA????????????? You have to hear the sermon...it is about 20 minutes...Go to this website...

www.revolutionchurch.com

and then MEDIA and go to his sermon about God, Gay, Grace.

Steadfast 10-21-2007 12:35 AM

Gotta be careful about that picture that comes up... the statement (and the speech) kind of sums up how demented these kinds of people and attitudes can be.

Sick, sad and nauseating.

Thad 10-21-2007 12:45 AM

This is totally, I mean totally Blowing my mind away!!!!

this world is crumbling ! !

when you go to this link, choose New York, then go to Media at the top of the page.

then hear his sermon called "God's grace"

it is truely earth shattering !

dizzyde 10-21-2007 12:45 AM

I don't remember this guy??? I'm suprised he didn't hook in with the RPI group!

Thad 10-21-2007 12:47 AM

He was an Apostolic Evangelist, married with 3 kids

started out in Arkansas, ended up in California

Thad 10-21-2007 12:48 AM

Dizzy, he was based out of Howard Davis in san Bernardino

preached a lot of revivals in the southern california

you have got to check this out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Steadfast 10-21-2007 12:49 AM

Better be careful... quite a bit of cussing during the sermon.

Yes, I'm serious.

And, yes, it's still sick, sad and nauseating.

Interesting. There is a man with the lastname Clanton or something like that who pastors a Gay Pentecostal church just north of here in Scottsdale. Their site tells how he got his education at CLC. The Photo Gallery is funny to say the least. It blows my mind that this kinda church exists. But it does. I think the church name is Reconciling Pentecostal Assembly. You all can google the name if you want to see the site. It is just plain weird.

Thad 10-21-2007 12:51 AM

I'm sorry, he states he has 4 kids

also his lover is HIV positive WOW!

Yeah, that is the group I was referring to, they actually have an organization. The term "Out and Proud" is definitely their motto. One of the leaders of the movement is actually a very old friend. It is very troubling to say the least. The only thing that I can say is I have to hate the sin, but love the sinner.

He preached a short while back for the ICOF... Rev. Bernie's bunch. I think he also is / was a part of the AWCF... the same bunch that Suber and his crew joined recently.

Steadfast 10-21-2007 01:02 AM

Sad stuff... here's some video of him. Not much better, honestly.

dizzyde 10-21-2007 01:02 AM

Well, I'm officially grossed out.

Joseph Miller 10-21-2007 01:10 AM

He came to MS and preached at all the home mission churches. He was a very mean spirited person as he said. He was just full of himself.

He used to preach for some "Ultra-cons" in MS. I wonder if they know about this.

from what he said here, it sounds like he is espousing the "universal reconciliation" doctrine that carlton pearson preaches

Somewhere I read that you were from California so you have probably seen her. They were based out of Howard Davis' church at one time.
