Old Age Complex. Is that another name for Rest Home? Are you the first resident in your new Complex, Scott?

I believe so... he is the first and only... its for special people!!! But he is not here at this time to answer... he is away counting that 1 hair over and over again!

dizzyde 10-23-2007 11:07 AM

Well, just to completely show my carnality this morning, I was just listening to this song on the way to work this morning, it is one of my favorites right now. I think it is topic appropriate! Here you go, Bro. Scott, my contribution to the discussion:

No, I'm not colorblind
I know the world is black and white
Try to keep an open mind
But I just can't sleep on this tonight

Stop this train
I wanna get off
And go home again
I can't take the speed it's moving in
I know I can't
But honestly, won't someone stop this train?

Don't know how else to say it
Don't want to see my parents go
One generation's length away
From fighting life out on my own

Stop this train
I wanna get off
And go home again
I can't take the speed it's moving in
I know I can't
But honestly, won't someone stop this train?

So scared of getting older
I'm only good at being young
So I play the numbers game
To find a way to say that life has just begun

Had a talk with my old man
Said "help me understand"
He said "turn sixty-eight
You renegotiate"

"Don't stop this train
Don't for a minute change the place you're in
And don't think I couldn't ever understand
I tried my hand
John, honestly we'll never stop this train"

Once in awhile, when it's good
It'll feel like it should
And they're all still around
And you're still safe and sound
And you don't miss a thing
Till you cry when you're driving away in the dark
Singing

Stop this train
I wanna get off
And go home again
I can't take the speed it's moving in
I know I can't
Cause now I see I will never stop this train.

Dear Rhoni, I have a boil....

ing pot of water....uh,....what does that mean.

RandyWayne 10-23-2007 01:24 PM

Dear Rhoni, If I start this thread, will they post?

One wonders!

Nahum 10-23-2007 01:27 PM

Randy, you need to tell Rhoni what your spiritual, emotional, or mental problem is so she can help you overcome it.

Otherwise we'll all feel the need to analyze your "issues" ourselves, and I'm sure you don't want that!:nah

BrotherEastman 10-23-2007 01:28 PM

It means that the pot that is full of h20 has reached a heating point of 220 degrees fahrenhiet, which has caused the molocules within the h20 to move as fast as it will, while evaporating into the atmosphere which is comprised mostly of o2 and co2. Then becoming a vapor that accumilates and eventually turns into a cloud.........uhhhh...never mind.

SDG 10-23-2007 01:29 PM

Well ... I just a "Get over it" from the counseling guru ... I feel cheated and used.

tamor 10-23-2007 01:30 PM

Sure we will. Anyone who can dance like the stars deserves his own post!

:shockamoo

Nahum 10-23-2007 01:31 PM

My advice is to ignore it and it will go away. You know what they say, right?

A watched pot never boils?

dizzyde 10-23-2007 01:33 PM

Well, from my perspective, most of the responses to these threads has been tongue in cheek, but apparently some feel that only some users on this forum have the right post incessantly over the same topic, and argue over nothing for days on end. But other people try to lighten up and have a little fun, and that is over the top. Whatever.

Ferd 10-23-2007 01:33 PM

if it is a male pot, pour it out. ]

if it is a female pot, listen to it. it will solve all your problems... pull up a couch.

if you are a man, dump the boiling water on your head.

if you are a female, YOU GO GIRL!

said in my best Rhoni voice

This is a "pay to play" league Alicea!

Send her some money and she'll analyze you. Otherwise you're just in the way of her real clients.

I am sensing that you may have been abandoned as a child and have developed a severe case of inferiority blues.

How does this make you feel?

Dear Rhoni, HELP! I post on a forum with a woman who is a sexist!

Dear Rhoni,

I post on a forum with a professional woman who appears to be sexist. Yes, it appears that she is a man hater.

Any advice for this poor tormented woman?

Dear Rhoni, Dan Alicea thinks we're immitators.

Dear Rhoni
I have a problem w/Dan thinking he's the only authentic one around here. What should I do?

Scott Hutchinson 10-23-2007 01:42 PM

If you have a boil I would say get it lanced.

Sacerdotal 10-23-2007 01:42 PM

Dear Rhoni: Can counselors double bill if assisted by the Gifts of the Spirit?

I found this quote and I'm confused. If one is a 'educated counselor' and charges for their services then would it be ethical to charge for the outside 'second opinion'?

I wonder... If I send her a five dollar bill, will I get five times the accuracy as if I sent a $1?
