Restaurants with bars
 

I have found people in my travels that won't eat in restraunts that have a bar or serve alcohol.

I was wondering what the feelings were of the people on this forum.

More food and drink for me....

I am soooooooooo kidding!

Not only will I eat at a restaurant with a bar, but I will often have a nice dry Merlot with my steak........

But thats just me............

No problem w/ that ... there is no biblical prohibition ....

I have only consumed alcohol maybe 5 or 6 times in my late teens to age 21 ... never been drunk .... it's just not for me.

Not only will I eat in a restaurant with a bar... I will eat in the bar area and even at the bar itself when I am traveling alone.

I will also go to a bar and eat because I like the food there.

In "olden times" taverns were family restaurants with a place for the men to drink and smoke and conduct business in the back area.

God has "blessed" me with a body that cannot handle getting drunk. I go from slightly tipsy to sick with no in-between.

TGIFridays has their best deals while sitting in the bar area.

I have always wondered what kind of drunk I'd be ...

LOL... that is sad.. but I too once wondered... took me 4 one night... and 18 another... altho I will say the night of the 18 it ended me in the hospital.. there was no in between I went from being fine to nearly dead in about 30 min! Beer and I are not friends most of the time.

Bro I have no problem with it. I did close revival tonight with a guy that is against it.

There is no worse form of being sick then when you are drunk. I can't understand how a million college students think otherwise..........

If I only ate @ the places which didn't serve alcohol I'd be eating fast food all the time.. Not too many places that don't serve alcohol or have bars in them around here..

By the way, Fridays makes the best Gimlets around.....

Around here there would be no place to eat if you didnt want too unless its fast food or golden corral

I love Applebees, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, etc...

I don't drink any at all, but the food is great.

I think if you can't go in restaurants that have bars in them, then you couldn't go buy groceries at a store that sold beer or cigarettes. If that were the case here, you would just have to slaughter your own hogs and grow all your food, and that is SO not me!!

Therefore I will continue to eat wherever I want; I just won't indulge in the alcohol.

I would like to add a consonant as well.

And, I fear that my children are eating in a bar right now. A quick phone call reveals that they are eating in a bar owned by a family that paid off much of the mortgage for a church I once served. "Bars" aren't too bad. Not everything has be like Chuck E. Cheese's.
