That was an awesome one. Tombstone would come in first for me. So many great lines from that movie.

I don't have a favorite movie, but I just like movies...good ones that is.

I also like old corny "B" movies for a good laugh. I like comedy, Westerns, Thrillers, I hate movies that depict evil...

HeavenlyOne 10-29-2007 10:19 AM

Anything horror.

The SAW movies.......LOL!

SAW MOVIES ARE GREAT!!! I really don't consider them in the same group as the gratuitious horror and violence found in movies like Halloween, Friday the 13th ... the SAW movies are mostly psychological thrillers.

YIkES....to me those are the ones that are evil...I hate that kind of movie...they give me the creeps, and I don't like that feeling of being stalked...they usually make woman especially helpless victims, I hate that!

SDG 10-29-2007 10:22 AM

Give me a movie w/ twists and surprise endings ... I get bored real quick when I can predict what will happen next. I like to think when watching a movie.

I watched '28 weeks later' this past week. Wow. LOL!

I think the most horrific one I've watched was 'Hostel'. It totally was NOT what I was expecting it to be about!! Another horrific one is "Wolf Creek" (I think that's the name of it), filmed in Australia or about an incident that 'supposedly' happened there.

I used to not be able to watch the Jason or Michael movies, but now they are almost funny to watch. And Freddy movies slay me!! LOL!

I watched "Gothica" yesterday. That was a good one with twists.

"White Noise" was another good one.

There is another one, I think with Jody Foster, where her child is missing but everyone, including her husband deny that she ever had one.....I can't think of the name of it, but it had to do with an airplane. I think "Flight" was in the name, but I'm not sure.

"Final Destination" movies were good too, but along the lines of "Scream" movies.

Have you seen "The Prestiege"....I like movies like that too, but I don't like to be scared by what I see...

RandyWayne 10-29-2007 11:31 AM

Panic Room was good (my wife couldn't stand it), I also really liked all three Lord of the Rings movies. The Descent was also good.

Hostel was.... interesting. LOL (At least the main dude/villain got it REALLY good at the end!)

I can't wait to see the SAW movies.... I have yet to see the first.

I find it interesting that none of the responses have included, "The Passion of the Christ", a movie that was vigorously defended and applauded back in the nFCF days....
