ummm, well you recently posted a pic of you on a harley didn't you ??

Tina 10-31-2007 11:08 AM

Thad, I'm invisible because I am not always sitting here when the webpage is up. I don't want people to think I'm ignoring them if they saw a green light on, and I didn't immediately respond to a PM.

Just so you know, there's no conspiracy as to why I'm invisible. :D

I wear culottes to ride. Just have to watch the pipes! ;) I don't ride great distances though either.

Sis where I come from those would be considered pants....

and in the winter the leather is so important....not to mention its a good barrier for the pavement just in case we do kiss it....I pray we never do, but you have to be prepared....

I understand how some feel about culottes. Cept most can't even tell that mine are not a skirt. ~L~ I have mine sown for me.

In the winter, I don't ride. Too cold, often snowy or icy.

Now a snowmobile would work. :D

I know a lady who wears them almost to her ankles. She has a denim pair and they are only about two inches above her ankles. When I walk up to her in my jeans and tell her I like hers, she always says, "This is a split skirt."

Yeah right. They're nothing but baggy capri pants!!

:killinmeI have a couple pairs of those...platso pants are what they are....and I really like um....they are so comforable...

Darcie 10-31-2007 01:01 PM

In some instances pants are just more modest than skirts...sorry

I always ask her to let me do her face and put some makeup on her, since she's wearing jeans and all. She pretends to get flustered, but she laughs with us. She's really a good sport about outward dress standards even though she's older and still supposedly upholds them.....

Oh brother...

Throw those blanket statements around ignorantly why don't ya?

My culottes look neither like what is commonly known as a "split skirt" nor do they look like "capri's" baggy or otherwise.

Theres a pic of me in them on the HUNTING thread of this forum. See for yourself. Otherwise, don't talk about what you don't know. Cause you certainly DON'T KNOW.

OH no way.....you must be kidding....how about a see threw skirt, or one that is too tight....as long as its a skirt its legal...(well not really, I am just being ornery) I agree with you....at times I wear a skirt, dress, pants, shorts, it depends on where I am and what I am doing....I keep all the stuff that needs to be covered done so...and my jeans are NOT tight...if anything they are baggy!!!!
