I was with a friend a few months back who was from another org. Similar, but different. I said ________ what is the difference between you and us. She said..."we don't hide our TV's"

Elizabeth 11-07-2007 09:40 AM

Let's see .....

Staying at Comfort inn......89.99$ (idk what it is I am making this up as I go)

Clean Sheets...0$

Diet Soda and Nacho Chips from the snack bar (note dietary contradiction)...8.99$

A remote in your hand and 13 channels at your mercy......priceless, I guess.

Now that's priceless!

And the funniest part is no one is hiding anything from God - just each other.

Girl friend we are talking HOTEL-MOTEL TV there aint no 437 channels!

delta soundman 11-07-2007 09:52 AM

Funny story. My wife and I got new furniture a few months ago. While shopping my wife asked what I thought about this old looking piece of furniture. I said, hmmm looks nice but too antique. Then I noticed this little toggle switch on the top..........BOO YAH!!! Up rises the TV at the push of a button. My 42'' High Def Toshiba looks great in it. So fast forward to my son's birthday party. The TV is hidden away ever so discretely. In walks some of my ultracon friends whom I no longer attend church with. They are looking around for stuff to run back and tell folks at my former church. Then my pastor walks in. So I say "Hey pastor check this out, click" Up rises the TV. The ultracons try to look unphased but I knew what they were thinking...........Man I got to get one of those!! Who ever is making those hidden TV cabinets will be set up in the hall exiting the Tulsa Meeting.

True true I was thinking about the ones they have hidden in their homes behind those big huge doors right positioned directly in the center of their living rooms in front of their couches and love seats

Yeah I was thinking about those Tulsa guys in their hotels, of course 13 channels is slightly exaggerating their minimal channels, but I was going for the drama!! :dance

well the word does say "love TO one another" Your wife did a good thing.

Sometimes I wonder though DS, if I could just give one good straight right to the eye......would I feel better? Just one.

I so know what you mean bro. This past Sunday I was in a local cafe and spotted a man I would love to deal some 2 fisted justice to but, instead I held my son up on that side so I wouldn't have that temptation to go delivering God's justice. it is times like this past week I remember a great line from the movie Tombstone. It's right when Wyatt is at the train station and has Ike Clanton pinned to the ground. You familar with that seen?:guns

Remember, this is Tulsa, so after Hee Haw, CMT, and Andy Griffith, you only have 10 channels left:bubble
