In the Book of Esther are words something to this effect: "...for such a time as this...". Your words, Sister, are words "...for such a time as this..." . Thank you for your blessing... and may the bread you've given, return to you a hundred-fold.

I have been thinking about you as I have sent The Collings-

worth Family Link to several of my family. I am thinking of

ordering CD's and DVD's of my large, large family for Christmas.

I wept as I listened to some of the songs on their website as samples.

"The Healer Is Here" and "He'll See You Through". This is a unique

family who God has blessed with many talents and blessings. I

still thank you so much for sending me their DVD, "A Night To

Remember". These are the type things that will live on and be

a blessings for generations to come.

There are many wonderful things about the Holy Ghost, not the least of which is that He truly knows what we have need of.

You are SO right! If we sow seeds of blessings and God's love, that is

what we will reap! I remember an old song from my childhood entitled

"The Great Reaping Day". The chorus says,

"May we sow righteous seed for the reaping;
which is coming to everyone.
Oh the joy on that day,when we hear Jesus say,
come ye blessed. a crown you have won".

Does anyone remember that old song!

Those old songs had such messages in them. I regret

they are not sung more. Many of them have encouraged

me so much in my later years.

Yes, Falla39, I do remember that song. I remember my Dad singing it quite often around the house. I think the words that have stuck with me thru the years are "SO BE CAREFUL EACH DAY, WHAT YOU DO, WHAT YOU SAY. FOR YOU'LL MEET IT AGAIN BYE AND BYE". Or something like that.

Yes, Sis. Pittsgirl,

That is a part of that song 'The Great Reaping Day" and I also

heard my Mom and Dad sing it around the house. They carried

those words around in their hearts and they were a reminder of

how we should live day to day.

Another old song that impressed me as a child and made me want

to be careful was 'Watching You"

Watching you, watching you, every day mind the cord
you persue. Watching you, watching you. There's an all
seeing eye watching you.

And another:

There's a God who's standing at heaven's door,
He's looking this universe ore. And He see's each
mortal with a searching eye; You can't do wrong
and get by.

You can't do wrong and get by, no matter how much
you may try. Nothing hidden can be; Every thing He
doth see. You can't do wrong and get by.

Some might say those type of songs would breed fear

in the hearts of children. All I can say is that it caused

me to want to do right. There is a lack of the respectful,

reverential fear of the Lord in my thinking. The same kind

of disrespect children have for their own parents and grand-

grandparents, and elders many times today.

Thank you, Esther...I think so, too.

In this busy life and with the ever changing times, we need to hear kindness coming from the Saints to the Saints.

That's why I believe that bestowing blessings is so important. We don't know each other...we really don't.

We don't know what these faceless people that we interact with here are really going through.

It just might be your word that lifts someone's tired spirit this day...you just never know...

Amen. You don't know how many times your PM's came through just when I needed that extra encouragement. For every prayer you have prayed for me and every PM you sent me, I pray a double portion back to you!

I was thinking of you this morning & Barnabus (the son of consolation) came to mind.
You have always been an encourager & have always shown kindness & love
to everyone.

I am most certain that our Heavenly Father notices as well!

I receive your encouraging words with much Joy & Thankfulness as I was sitting weeping alone in my room last night from continued pain from both old and recent injuries!

I pray the same prayer back to you and to others here but pray that God would give it fourfold!

May the Most High God reveal to you just how passionately in love with you that He is.

May He enlighten you to the depths of meaning that the Hebrew word "ahav" has.

May He show you how much He desires, breathes after, and hungers and longs for you.

May you find comfort in the thought that He is so close to you that as you breathe out, He breathes in, and as He breathes out, you breathe in. He's so close that when the tears roll down your face, they roll down his as well. He is cheek to cheek with you as you go through life's trials. He's closer than the mention of His name.
