If one is in Christ Jesus there are complete or perfect in Him.
Perfection comes from being in Jesus Christ ,what this means is that when we are a child of God ,we have everything we need in Jesus Christ.

I got that cd a while ago and have listened to it a couple of times.
Bro. Baxter teaches on something there that is often overlooked in Pentecostal or Apostolic or Holiness churches. As children of God we have the righteousness of Christ and He is our holiness so in the sight of God we are perfect/complete.

There is a difference between our standing/position in Christ and our state/condition in this world as we develop and grow.

Good for him! You hit it Sam....imputed rightousness is a friegn language to those who think their rightousness or holiness will save them.

I been in upc for 37 years and i first heard it taught and explained in the last 5 years.

If properely understood it will change your conception of who Christ is and what his sacrafice really meant to us.

Through walking in the Spirit,Holiness will be produced,now we can live a lifestyle that pleases God,but what you do doesn't merit God's love for you.
Just having outward behavioural conformity doesn't merit God's love.
The image we need to be comformed to is the image of Christ.
Walk in the Holy Spirit,and you will have Holiness,because The Holy Ghost is Holy and leads one into everything that is correct and Holy.
When we don't submit to the leading of The Holy Spirit ,our fleshy nature will lead us into worldliness and carnality.

He meant "you" as in "YOU", Big Larry. He had no one else in mind, just you! :)

"YOU" is a plural pronoun, Pelathais. He meant you too. It's all about Jesus. I haven't earned anything, it's the FREE GRACE of God.
