Well done Dan! Thank you for doing this.

I do miss him! :(

Ronzo 11-23-2007 12:00 PM

You made me cry, bro.

I pray the Comforter brings peace multiplied upon peace to you and your family today. May His presence be felt and may He bring calm and warmth to your lives.

You are in my prayers.

My thoughts are with you Dan and Darcie. I never had the honor of knowing your father but from some of the pics it looks like we visited some of the same places.

God bless both of you the Holiday Season!

Dan,

What a nice tribute of memories to your dad! And what a homecoming is awaiting you on the other side! God bless you all.

rgcraig 11-23-2007 02:34 PM

What a beautiful legacy your dad has left...................beautiful faces with his smile on each one of their lips!

Great tribute Dan!

I'm on dial up but I wish I could see this. But it's great to have had a Godly Dad,I'm sure your Dad was a great Christian man.

Great tribute Dan! You've succeeded once again in bringing tears to our eyes.
Not only is he now safe in the arms of our Father but his faith is safe in the hearts of his children. He would be rightly proud of those grandkids! The family of Manuel Alicea will remain in our prayers for what you have had to give up but I am convinced that God will truly "balance the books" someday.
It was also a surprise to see [if I'm not mistaken] an old school mate in some of the photos.

Ron, you said this better than I could.

May God grant the Alicea family rest from their day of grief.
Joy in knowing this soldier is home.

Great tribute to your dad. Must have been a great man of God.

Margies3 11-23-2007 08:41 PM

Dan,

this was beautiful. (and this is coming from someone who makes these videos for a living!) GREAT tribute to someone I am convinced was a great man. After all, we here on AFF, have "met" the fruits of his labor (you and Darcie). You two are the best tribute to his life.

You're in my prayers tonight, brother.

Take it from someone who's been there: you never forget them. And you never stop missing them. But eventually, over time, the pain becomes more of a dull ache and less of a sharp knife. God will be your comfort.
