David McCullough: "The Greater Journey"
History of Americans traveling to Paris, early American history. This is the fifth book of David's that I have read. All are early American History. I must have miss it in school, or forgot it. But he makes it so very interesting. My youngest son bought it for my birthday, its a real book. I read one to books a week on my kindle, but still love the real thing. |

I'm currently reading Eugene Peterson's Run with the Horses. Dietrich Bonhoeffer's Psalms: the prayer book of the Bible. Sam Storm's Convergence:Spiritual Journeys of a Charismatic Calvinist. And will be starting on Dietrich Bonhoeffer's The Cost of Discipleship next week (Lord willing). |

Re: What are you reading currently?
Pagan Christianity is a great read. Loved it.
Many really staunch "church folks" would not like it at all. |
Re: What are you reading currently?
"Insurrection", 'To Believe is Human to Doubt, Divine' by Peter Rollins.
|
Re: What are you reading currently?
I just finished an abreviated version of Foxe's Book of Martyrs. It was very abreviated.

Re: What are you reading currently?
John Adams, by David McCullough. Adams was nothing like I had been taught; clearly a godly non-partisan patriot.
