Re: What are you reading currently?

Last book I read was The Mystery of Israel's Flag by David F. Gray. I read that a few days ago.

A couple of weeks ago I started reading "Profit from the Prophets" by C.C. Gosey and "Understanding the Anointing" by Kenneth E. Hagin. They are both in a pile on my desk with a couple other things I'm reading and taking notes on.

Re: What are you reading currently?

While looking for something else among my books I found "The Way of Victory" by David F. Gray. I knew I had that book and was pretty sure which shelf it was on but was not looking for it. It is a short book (booklet) of just 16 pages so I read through it planning on sending it to someone who is trying to collect David Gray's books.

Iscariot by Tosca Lee

Wonderful book. It is a fictional account of Judas Iscariot's life.
At the end of the book the author talks about how we as Christians are not that different from Judas. Every time we sin we choose the expectations of this world and not Jesus.
This book was also beautifully written. The pages fly by.

I have read plenty of Ehrman to know that this person makes a lot of false assumptions.

Heretics and Politics by Tom Fudge.
A good book but not enough back story information on the influence wielded by eschatalogy taught by Cobb, Nigh and Dillon. Their eschatalogy was not according to the by-laws.
It was a source of concern to Oregon area board members in the mid-70's to the mid 80' and as recently as a decade ago.

In CWTC, do you think Fudge impartially portrayed PAJC and PCI?

CWTC an informative read. I just finished Heretics and Politics by Fudge and he very accurately described the politic of the movement in Oregon.
