Whose Heavenly Reward is Greater?

Case 1:
Brother or sister goes all out, bringing in those who are disadvantaged, thrown away, and discarded from the world. Some receive the gift of the Holy Ghost and are baptized in Jesus' Name.

Case 2:
Brother or sister lives their respective lives as an utmost example of Christ. Kind, ethical, knowledgeable of the scriptures. They witness one or two at a time and hold Bible studies for each in a personable manner. Some receive the gift of the Holy Ghost and are baptized in Jesus' Name.

Which type of witness would receive a higher heavenly reward, if any? Should one case feel guilty that they are not like the other case?

It depends on what is meant by "all out." I knew people who went "all out" but they sadly had little result and wound up being burnt out.

I think the "greater heavenly reward" system is probably one reason why people like "Case 1" go all out. Far better for us to live our lives to the fullest and to have Jesus Christ as the focus. If He gives somebody more Mardi Gras beads to someone else, so be it. At least I can say that Jesus was my focus and not the beads.

One first has to decide if one soul is worth more than another.

Personally I think it is a role in the Body of Christ that different individuals play. Certainly not everyone can fit into the two cases presented but some people that fall all over themselves when they have to speak to people are the ones who make it possible for a church to physically operate - mechanical, structural and the ones who are always in the congregational eye have wonderful people skills - and can barely flip a switch to turn on the sound system.

I agree.

People also have different methods of reaching the lost. What works for one may not work for another, but the end result it the same, and that's what matters.

The least among us who will receive the least reward, if any at all, is the one who labors night and day, doing many good works, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, preaching, teaching, bringing many to salvation...all for the purpose of personal merit and heavenly reward.
