You can't cut your hair if you are a woman according to some. You must take this literally without explanation of history nor without any explanation other than it must be long because of the angles, your head, etc.
Ok, so what about women? Paul said that had to keep silence in the church and then ask their husbands about things when they get home. Of course this one seems to be explained away lol I would like to know if there is really someone who actually believes in both of these scriptures because you can't just follow one and be right with God. The straight and narrow brothers and sisters. :scripture |

Read up an study on the Nazirite vow and you'll find the answer to your question. ... |

Apostolics teach that Long hair on a man is sin. The way I see it, long hair for the Nazirite is a shame as in being humbled. God was not dis-honored by the shame of Samsons hair. Shame in this case in not sin. The scripture does not teach it as a sin. I believe it just annoyed folks. |

My bad it is a couple chapters later....here I'll post it for you.
1 Corinthians Chapter 14 33 For God is not a God of disorder but of peace. As in all the congregations of the saints, 34 women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says. 35 If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church. |
