Bomb Threat at my daughter's School
Several Bomb threats to my daughter's high school; bomb scheduled to go off at 12:09 PM tomorrow with kid's running to be shot by a sniper.
Well, I figure it is a hoax but the kid is staying home. and she is not happy about it. The police are taking it seriousley as well. PRAY! |
I'll be praying...
I don't blame you. I'd keep her home too! That's scary. Happened once at the school my kids used to attend. Every time I hear something like this, I am so thankful that my kids are homeschooled. |

And to be totally irreverant, you have a teen-age daughter who isn't happy about having (getting) to stay home from school??? What are you feeding this child?? :toofunny If only! I still have trouble getting my 20 year old to stay focused on college, and to get up and go to work! (But she is a sweetheart, Thank God) |

Oh of course Bro. Atkinson. Will be praying for y'all.
Lord Jesus we pray that you will send guardian angels and build a hedge around the school that no one will be able to place any bombs. And stop sniper bullets. In Jesus precious name. Amen |

Yes this is very scary and we are praying here. This happened at my sons school the day after columbine they found 80 bombs in the school some with detinator devices and some without... we freaked... I had no idea what had happened until my daughter who was little at the time said mommy look outside at all the planes... well we lived in the middle of nowhere... there sure enough were about 4 helicopters so i got in my car and headed to the school (the school day hadnt begun yet as my son rode w the cafeteria mgr so they left early) and she walked into the building.. being the one to unlock it every morning and her and her son and my son found what appeared to be blood painted on the wall saying everyone would die at noon... They took this very seriously too and evacuated the school of the 3 who were there and then locked it off for the rest.. I was able to get near enough to get my son and hers and then forced to leave... they resumed school 2 days later.. in little middle of no where texas so yep I understand!

The school district we lived in last year had over 7 bomb threats in 2 months. They were all hoaxes and a very small town (1000). It got ridiculous and the school had a new bomb policy where they locked the children in the school and wouldn't let them out until after they had thoroughly searched the school. Parents were expectedly upset that they couldn't pick up their children if there was a bomb threat. Thankfully we home school.
