He's the question. Would you allow a minister to be your pastor who intentionally lied when he signed it?

Cindy 01-15-2008 02:32 PM

How would you know if he intentionally lied or not?

Ferd 01-15-2008 02:34 PM

the proper name for this is the Infernal Document.

please refer to it by the correct name.

Does he do what he said he would do concerning holiness as stated in the Articles of Faith. Does he teach those things to the church and then live them himself?

Rev, I have installed a feature when you start a new thread, it searches for similar thread.

Also at the bottom of the thread is FIVE times where we have rolled this one over.

About 275 times from the replies noted.

As for as I know both of my pastors lived what they preached. I don't know about what they signed.

Why would I do that, that's between him and God as for as I'm concerned. Because if he is intentionally lying God will take care of it. And we know he alone knows any man's heart.

Just to toss some of the same old tired gas onto this fire...

According to comments by brother Urshan, the Infernal Document didn’t change anything and the UPCI was still going to allow the same kind of variation as it had from day one.

In addition to the infernal document being a very bad idea, it has cost the organization more than it has provided.

I would like to be more scathing and down right ugly in my comments regarding the infernal document, but my better judgment gets the better of me.

Alas, good sense has become my enemy.

But let me turn the tables and make this statement:

I would be more prepared to divorce myself from a pastor who supports the Infernal Document than I would be concerned about the man living by the letter of this abysmal law.

It is my understanding that they can sign and state something in the contrary in the back...like an addendum. Am I correct?
