Blizzard in Alabama!
Snow falling at unprecedented rates!
Store shelves emptied by worried customers. School cancelled, roads closed, church services cancelled. Salt trucks at the ready, street workers work overtime. TV and radio stations have begun 'Round the Clock" coverage. "Major" Winter advisory for North Alabama issued. Electricity demand high, outages feared. Rescue personal ready to render assistance. Police, towing services ready for car accidents. Deicer, salt, snow shovels and blowers in high demand. Its the Blizzard of '08 Well... weve gotten about a quarter of an inch of snow.!:happydance |
Tennessee is like Alabama. You get an inch of snow, and the whole world closes down around you!
