Just Spent Two Nights at Whitestone!
If you've never been to Whitestone Inn in East TN, you owe it to yourself to spend some time there! We just spent Wed. & Thursday nights there with the Butlers from Wisconsin. It was great to get to visit with Paul & Jean Cowell also; they are awesome people of God! (She is Stephen Hoover's wife's aunt).
The website is www.whitestoneinn.com, I think. You should check it out! Each room is different, with a different theme. They are all beautifully decorated and their chef is wonderful! We used to go more often, but haven't been able to lately. We are planning on changing that!! If you go to the website, go to the Osprey Room in the Lion & the Lamb building. That's where we stayed, but we've probably stayed in half of the rooms at some time or another. Jeff & Tami stayed in the Eagle Landing room. It's a fantastic, romantic getaway! |

You could go, but you definitely need to get married first. We had a staff retreat there years ago, and our music pastor was the only one there without a spouse. He was so miserable all week that he declared that the next year when we went back, he would have a wife. And he did!!! |

Sherri, I am glad you enjoy Whitestone.
The place really is first class. Jean and Paul have blessed many missionaries there and their heart is in the right place. |
