We're both passionate about GOD!
Family is VERY important to us
We are history buffs

He HATES seafood / fish (If its habitat is water forget it) I LOVE it!
He LOVES Italian / I can live without it
He is an early riser / I'm a night owl
He is an introvert/ I'm an extravert

I am very easy-going and my wife has a temper I like spending money she is tight so tight in fact she squeezes a dollar so tight the eagle screams.

I consider us to be polar opposites!

We do share:

Love for God and the Word of God
Love for Church and the people of God
Love for our families and our beautiful sons
Love for each other (most days :) )
Enjoyment of watching hockey and baseball.
Enjoyment of playing rook and various other games
Enjoyment of a good cup of tea with milk

I'm sure I could name more things we share in common... some things have become common since we married.. my enjoyment of sports, for example.

But differences.... MY MY MY

Eats seafood (ie things with eyes) .............. Hates seafood (ie huge sea insects)
Eats all manner of things ............... Likes her meat and potatos
Will run around the church .......... Will occasionally dance
Loves a fan blowing at night ............... Hates the cold air on her face
Listens to music at night .................. Has to know where his earphones are at all times!
Acts now, thinks later .............. Thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, till near insane
Not sensible enough to worry .................... Worry wart
Runs hot................... Always feeling cold

My wife and I have the same desire to serve the Lord.
I am out going to a fault, she is more reserved.
She loves Spanish food. I do not.
I love seafood, she does not.
She does not mind big crowds, I do not big crowds.
I am a night owl, she is a morning person.
She loves Black Gospel, I like worship songs.
I love unplanned out vacations.
She has to have everyday scheduled out.
I sleep when I am depressed, she eats.

We both love people and fun.

I love her and she loves me.......

Brother Alvear and complete opposites...maybe that is why we get along so good...He loves insturments, plays music and sings...
I love books...music is a foreign language to me and I would never know what key people or singing in much less myself...
He loves taking pictures...I take them for mission purposes only. He seldom if ever writes a letter I love to write.
He is content...I like adventure...He remembers to save money for the bills I forget and give it all away...
We are just very different...yet we get along just fine...When I was younger and in better health I loved the backlands and he would let me go spend weeks at a time in the middle of no where...He loves the cities...So if there is a city church he usually started it or helped start it if the church is in the backlands most all know I was probably there...

Our life is so awesome...we admire each other...

Well, she a white girl from Eastern Canada who grew up with country music....I'm a Latino from Southern Cali who grew up with soul music, hmmmm, yup we're different. She's graceful and kind...I like to toot! She had 1 boyfriend in her life, I lost count of girls. Her family never said the word "f_rt" in their lives, my family laughed about them. She loves Disney, I wouldn't mind if Mickey was stabbed in a dark alley. She loves cats, I wouldn't mind if they hung out with Mickey. She will go out of her way to be nice to someone, I have the most sarcastic mouth you have ever heard that I usually stay away from people so that my mouth doesn't get me in trouble.

But, together, we are better people than if we were separate...we love young people, we love to sing, we love to play music, we love to laugh, we love our church and the family of God at CCC, we love baseball, we love to smooch, we both are sensitive to the Holy Ghost (that has saved me), we love to travel, we love mexican food and In-N-Out Burger, we love/d our parents and families, we love to have small contact at all times, we like video games--hers are cute, mine I shoot terrorists, we love the USA, we love Canada, we love cooking for others, we like Jazz, we love the beach....thats enough for now.
