Please pray for the loss of a friend's grandson
 

A young man that dated one of my daughter's passed away this morning. He was about 30 yrs. old, but drugs and alcohol took a bit toll on his body. He had liver failure and was unresponsive since yesterday morning. My family grieve's with his as he was a big part of our life for a while.
His name was Wesley. At one time a bright, blonde headed, freckled face boy. And then this horrible plague of drugs and alcohol came upon him and he could not seem to get free. Please pray for his family, he came to stay down here with his grandmother to get away from bad influences, as he had once before. Too little, too late. May God have mercy on his soul.

Yes I agree. I just can't help picturing his face before the drugs took such a toll on his body. And how angry I am that all that he could have been was destroyed by drugs and alcohol.

Well I went to visit the family today. It was very hard to deal with the loss of this young man. Oh Lord, we are not suppose to put our children in the ground. I have been where they are and I can really tell you I almost lost my mind. But God is always faithful to us. Tomorrow is the funeral and I hope y'all will be with me in lifting this family up to God as onlye He can give the comfort and peace they need.
