Has anyone heard that cell phone numbers will soon be made available to telemarketers? According to my info, within days, telemarketers will have access to all phone numbers and YOU WILL BE CHARGED everytime they call. May be a hoax, but, to be on the safe side, I went to www.donotcall.gov
and registered my cell phone number. It takes about 20 seconds to register your number(s).

I registerd all our phones last year. Some still slip through though. :(

I don't know how it works in the States but in Canada I have my plan with Fido.
It is called City Fido & I pay $45.00 a month and can talk for any length of time if I call in the Greater Vancouver Area.

Fido was bought out by Rogers & they no longer have this plan available but those of us that do have it, they have to honour it!:happydance

I have free incoming calls, so that doesn't bother me. Some time ago I heard a professor say in one of his speaches, that the day he figured out that he didn't have to talk about the same thing that the telemarketers are, his life got alot easier. I've been wanting to try that out ever since I heard that just to mess with 'em...hehehe, I'm a very bad boy
