Pray for Meide Thompson and Meire Alvear
 

Meide and Meire are sisters. Meide is married to Missionary Ryan Thompson and Meire is married to our son Alexander Alvear. Their father passed awy yesterday and both are taking it real hard. Neither to go to the funeral as Meide is in the states and Meire lives in south Brazil.
Their father was an Assembly of God pastor...Please pray for his wife Sister Regis. I talked to her today just a few minutes before the funeral. She is really taking it hard.

Greetings Aff, and mama alvear. my wife sis. meide is doing much better in spirit. she was the youngest. i was the closest son-in-law in terms of speaking to him. i really admired him. he was a jewel of a man. he truly was a genuine in what he did. he pastored for over 40 years, and established 13 churches alone where he was pastoring the last 12 years.
it is very hard being so far from family, etc. plus having to face reality that will not be able to get that last good-bye, and that last look at the great father and father-in-law.. i was in the same situation bck in 2000 when i lost my grandmother which was a hero in my life, prayer warrior, and precious person. it was hard to handle being in brazil wanting to go see her for the last time. we appreciate your prayers, and concern.
to sis. sherri....my wife and i are very close to jackson, we are in lexington. we are preaching in the area at some different churches.

Sorry to hear about Sis. Meide's father.

The Thompson's were just at our church last month. (I didn't realize that Bro. Ryan was on here at Center of his will!)

I appreciate you all praying so much...I felt sorry for all his children as I know the pain but especially for Meide being in the states...I am so glad she is feeling better...

Brother Alvear and I traveled last night after church to come to the south. We had this trip planned for business reasons but am so happy we will get to visit with Meire.

Please keep this family in your prayers. Yes and I do agree Brother Ryan was very close to Pastor Joselino.
